Summary

Rockstardroppeda second trailer for GTA 6 earlier this week, following the news from a few days prior thatits highly anticipated game now won’t be here until May 2026. A lot 6was revealed in that trailer, including the protagonists' full names. However, if you were following the right people on social media, you’d have known that info already.

The lead characters in GTA 6 are calledLucia Caminos and Jason Duvall. We know that now, it was officially confirmed on May 6, the day that second trailer dropped. With that in mind, I’d like to direct your attention to a post by someone who goes byGameRollshared on April 19, more than two weeks before that trailer aired.

Since the GTA 6 talk had dried up, as GameRoll notes, they tried to get a conversation going by inviting those eager to learn more information to try and guess Jason and Lucia’s full names along with them. “My guesses are Lucia Caminos and Jason Duvall. Why? Because they sound cool, duh,” GameRoll wrote.

You Might Have Known Jason And Lucia’s Full Names Before Tuesday

Depending On Who You Follow On Twitter

Turns out those are really the characters' names, hence some people going back to find GameRoll’s tweet and label them a real-life GTA prophet. The odds of accurately guessing one of the characters' last names are incredibly high, but to get both right in the same post would be nearly impossible.

Sadly, GameRoll does not have a functioning crystal ball that we can use to find out other things about the near future, like next week’s winning Lotto numbers orHollow Knight: Silksong’s release date. They’ve admitted since the second trailer dropped that they had inside information on Jason and Lucia’s names. However, now they’re getting more attention since they seemingly have someone on the inside at Rockstar, they don’t like seem to like it.

GameRoll claims the full names of GTA 6’s lead characters are as far as their Rockstar knowledge goes, and they’re now worried that everything they share, which is mostly their opinions, will be taken as leaks, or even concrete information. “This was a one-off thing for me so please don’t think I’m spoiling the game anytime I share my opinion,” reads a tweet they’ve posted since.

Unfortunately for GameRoll, that ship has almost certainly sailed. As has been demonstrated by GTA fans hungry for a new game during the lengthy gap between its two trailers, they will pick apart anything until there’s nothing left, no matter how little weight there is to it. The new trailer has only been out for three days and GTA fans have already resorted to hyper-focusing on single frames, looking for hints and mistakes such asthe oversight with this cyclist’s sandals.
