Summary

Legohas revealed new bust sets ofIron ManandSpider-Man, the latter of which is already available for pre-order. That’s the more popular of the two, as early reactions to the new Iron Man set are a little mixed, and that’s probably being kind.

Lego’s bust collection is somewhat limited. In fact, these Spider-Man and Iron Man sets appear to be the first where Lego has specifically referred to them as busts. There are some very similarStar Warssets, but all of them have been described as helmets rather than busts. There’s alsoa Shadow the Hedgehog setthat didn’t go down well with Sonic fans, so comparisons being drawn between it and the new Iron Man bust isn’t a good sign.

Iron Spider-Man Bust.

The Iron Man bust lets you build the head and shoulders of Iron Man’s MK4 suit. That’s the suit he wears in Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3. All sounds good so far, but Lego hasn’t exactly nailed the look. Some fans think the top of the set’s helmet is the issue, while others point to the eye placement as the problem. “A new runner-up for worst Lego design ever? Thought Shadow would keep that trophy for a long time,“one reply reads on Twitter.

Lego Has Revealed Two New Marvel Busts

Spidey Looks Good, Not Sure About Iron Man, Though

There are some who like the design but have a problem with the price. You can’t buy the Iron Man bust yet, but its store page is live through the link in the box below. It and the Spider-Man bust will cost $59.99 each. Maybe a little steep for sets that are made up of436 pieces for Iron Manand379 pieces for Spidey, but they are intended to be display pieces rather than toys.

Each set also comes with a matching Minifigure which is always a big plus and a selling point, for me at least.

Iron Man MK4 Bust.

The Spider-Man bust hasn’t been getting nearly as much bad press. The Lego recreation of the head and shoulders of the Iron Spider suit the web slinger wears in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame is a lot more aesthetically pleasing. It’s also available to pre-order right now, ready for its release on June 25, 2025.

If you’re on the lookout for some Lego before then, the infamous Chicken Jockey scene from A Minecraft Movie already has its own official Lego set. If it’s specifically Marvel stuff you want,Lego released a Marvel logo setearlier this year with Minifigures that can quite literally leap out of it.

Iron Spider-Man Bust

This Marvel Lego set lets you build a Spider-Man bust you can proudly display at home once complete. The set is modeled after the Iron Spider suit Peter Parker wears in Infinity War and Endgame, as is the matching Minfigure that comes included with the set.

Iron Man MK4 Bust

The MK4 armor Iron Man wears in Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 has been transformed into a Lego set. Well, specifically the top of the suit as the armor is one of Lego’s bust sets. It also comes with a matching Minifigure to stand alongside it once the set is complete.
