I’m almost a complete newcomer to Marathon and haven’t paid much attention, but my god it’s music and visuals are stunning.
The stream opened up with the game’s developers at Bungie welcoming everyone to share a “little bit” of gameplay for Marathon. An overview trailer was then shown which featured Runners, the player characters, going up against the UESC and trying to survive in a retro-futuristic landscape.
Just after that, it was confirmed that the game’s Closed Alpha test is going to take place later this month on April 23. That means there’s really not that long to go until players can give Marathon a try ahead of its full release in September.
