Spoilers for the ending of Thunderbolts ahead
Summary
Have you had a chance to seeThunderboltsyet? I don’t blame you if you haven’t. It opened in theatres on May 2, so as of the time of writing, we’ve had three and a half days to get to the cinema.
However,Marvelseems to think that is more than enough time, because it is now spoiling the end of the movie virtually everywhere. Better yet, it’s doing this by changing the name of the film, so those of us who were waiting until the following weekend, or perhaps after work during the week, to go and see it are almost definitely getting spoiled

Thunderbolts Spoilers Are Everywhere, Even In Ads
This name change is, in fact, revealed at the very end of the film, so anyone who saw it before the posters started to change would have got to experience this twist first-hand. The rest of us, though? I guess we just know that going in now.
With that said, the fact that there was a name change is not all that surprising.Thunderbolts' logo was stylised with an asterisk at the end, indicating that this was just a working title for the group, and that they would be called something else in-universe. So, revealing their real name was always part of the plan, it’s just that its execution has rubbed some people online the wrong way.
Outside of this drama, the film appears to be performing incredibly well, and this isalso reflected in the critical performance. Many are saying that this is the best Marvel film since Avengers: Endgame, and a much-needed return to form for an MCU that’s felt pretty directionless in recent years.
