Four characters fromMarvel Rivalshave already been turned into Funko Pops, now, it’s Youtooz’s turn. The Funko figure rival teased which characters from Rivals will be the first to get official Youtooz, and it doesn’t take someone with Reed Richards' brain to figure out who those silhouettes belong to.
Whenever Youtooz has something to tease, it does so via character silhouettes that anyone even remotely familiar with those characters will immediately recognize. Just in case the silhouettes alone weren’t enough for its Rivals tease, it also includes an emoji for each one, confirming the first Rivals characters in its collection will beRocket, Squirrel Girl, and Jeff.
Youtooz tends to give full reveals to its teased figures a few days after sharing their silhouettes, so we’ll likely get a proper look at the trio any day now, and will probably be told their release date and pre-order details at the same time. If you’re familiar with Youtooz designs, you can get a good idea of how they will look by the tease alone.
Youtooz Is Assembling A Team
And It Actually Has Healers, Everybody Take Note
Rocket’s Youtooz looks like it’s leaning back, wielding the strategist’s gun that is capable of both hurting and healing. Squirrel Girl’s figure is holding a catapult, and you can see her squirrel sidekick Tippy-Toe sitting on her head. Jeff’s Youtooz, which will almost certainly be the most popular, hence it being upfront, looks like it will be wearing The Land Shark’s pink Incognito Dolphin skin.
Jeff technically already has a Youtooz figure. However, it’s based on his comic book look rather than his Marvel Rivals design.
The figures will likely cost $29.99 each,and there will be a wait between when you can place your orders and when they will ship. It’s also worth noting which Rivals characters haveFunko Pops- Galacta, Doctor Doom, Iron Man, and Magneto. As someone who has the Funko Pops, I hope it’s not a case of half the roster getting Pops and the other half getting Youtooz.
Some Youtooz figures will be a welcome distraction from the latest controversial addition to Marvel Rivals. You can now unlock Chrono Shield cards, which are items that protect you from losing points when you suffer defeats in competitive. Players who have complained about Rivals' higher ranks already being inflated with players who don’t deserve to be there are worried the new feature will only make things worse.
