Season 2 is around the corner, and with it the last chance to grab two free skins before they vanish.
If you’re a big ranked player, then there’s a strong chance you’re already eligible for these skins, but if you’re more casual or just jump into Quick Play a few times a week, then you’ll likely be missing out. The skins in question are for Invisible Woman (which is great for setting her apart from Dagger) and the Human Torch, and require players to reach Gold in ranked if you want to unlock them for free.

If you’re someone that has already reached Gold during Season 1 and left it there, possibly because you reached your goal, you’re also at risk of losing out too. Due to how Season 1 is split into two parts, those in Gold or above need to complete at least 10 competitive matches in order to be eligible to receive the free Human Torch skin too.
We have no idea if these skins will come to the Item Store eventually, so we can assume that once Season 2 starts on April 11, these skins will be gone forever, so this is your last chance to grab them while they’re still available. Even if they do come to the store in the future, you might as well grab them for free now, right?
It’s also worth noting that Marvel Rivals will be going down for maintenance before Season 2 starts, so today is really your last chance to grind out ten matches or get to Gold. Here’s exactly when Marvel Rivals will be going down for maintenance in each territory:
Maintenance will last approximately three hours, and Season 2 will then begin, after which these free skins will be gone. Getting to Gold isn’t too difficult for those of you that aren’t there yet, and those that already are don’t have to worry about dropping into Silver, as you just need to have reached Gold at any point this season to be eligible for the rewards. So, get to grinding and make sure you’ve got those skins.
