Summary
It feels like we’ve been waiting forever to finally see thisOblivionremaster thatwe now know for a fact is coming. Its Steam listing has been found, screenshots have leaked online, and we even knowhow big the game is going to be. The only thing we don’t know for sure is when we’re going to be able to play it.
Rumors have been all over the place about when Oblivion Remastered will release, but one constant is thatmany believe it will be shadow dropped this week. Xbox loves to release games as soon as they’re announced, with Ninja Gaiden 2 and Hi-Fi Rush being the most recent examples, and Oblivion Remastered would be the biggest of the bunch.

We’ll have to wait until tomorrow’s big reveal to be sure, but even more evidence has been thrown on top of the pile to suggest that the shadow drop rumors are true. This time, it comes in the form of an ESRB entry update, first spotted by No_Carpenter_735 on the Oblivion subreddit.
Oblivion Remastered ESRB Entry Update Suggests Imminent Shadow Drop
Using inspect element once again, No_Carpenter_735 was able to discover that the ESRB rating for Oblivion was last modified earlier today, something which wouldn’t be done unless the game itself was going to hit store shelves pretty soon. With all the existing rumors about a shadow drop, along with the event being held tomorrow, it’s pretty clear evidence that Bethesda is getting ready to make Oblivion Remastered available to purchase.
All we have to do now is wait, but that’s understandably a little bit difficult for people itching to revisit Cyrodiil. Most have taken to discussing the game online until the big day comes, with many outliningexactly what they want to see in the game, and whatthey hope has been left untouched. If those voice acting bloopers have been removed, I’m gonna throw a tantrum.
