The world is realising just how good Oblivion was thanks to the remaster. With stunning visuals and some great UI upgrades, players are experiencing Cyridiil in all its glory andjust can’t believe how good it is. In fact, some newplayers have realised that it’s even better than Skyrim, arguably the most popular game in the series.
Oblivion Remasteredplayers love thedeeper and complex magic system,the overhauled visuals, and even the hilarious bugs that were left in. What divides most players is which faction they’d want to join – The Dark Brotherhood, The Thieves Guild, or any other one, However, we can all agree that the Imperial Guards are the real heroes of Kvatch.

These loyal guardsmen won’t just help you out if you’re in trouble with monsters or bandits, but they’re actually pretty good at their jobs and adept in clearing off medium-level hostiles. They’ve helped out a number of players in a pinch, and everybody is singing their praises.
“I love how ridiculously high level the imperial guards are,” said one comment on Reddit. You witness them in the early game and it’s straight up terrifying how they delete everything without a second thought. I always go straight to the waterfront after exiting the sewers and bait the pirates into attacking me, then watch as two legion guards work their asses in a matter of seconds. Free cutlass!"
Others praised their sense of duty. “Honestly didn’t appreciate these guys enough, this is why I’ll always like the imperial legion. They didn’t ask who the enemy was, how many there are. Just how could they help,” said another comment.
“Even better, they don’t even care if you’re wearing the infamous item that makes you kill on sight to other guards,” pointed out another player. “They see it and just know there’s bigger problems at hand than capturing you. Real heroic guardsmen.
Whenever you’re in trouble, look for an Imperial Guard. They’ll slaughter your enemies and ask you what else you need help with after that.
