Summary
The best part aboutOblivion Remasteredis watching those who’ve only played Skyrimrealise that it’s actually better. While the latter is undoubtedly the most popular entry in The Elder Scrolls series. The deep and complex magic system, the beautifully crafted story, and – thanks to the remaster –stunning visuals.
However, it’s not just the visuals that have been upgraded, a few other features have also been reworked. Whileplayers appreciate the Imperial Guardsand their sense of duty, many have also praised the leveling system of the game. The change makes the gamer more engaging, whilekeeping you from feeling too overleveled. Perhaps we may see this system perfected in the next installment of the series.

Oblivion Remake Fans Love The Leveling System
As you get more powerful and get better gear, more powerful enemies will start spawning in the world. Unlike games like Assassin’s Creed Shadows, enemies don’t have a fixed level – meaning, they won’t be high level in one place and low in another. Enemies in Oblivion Remastered will level up with you.
It seems fans prefer this feature over the area-based leveling we’ve seen in many games. In fact, they even think that it should be used in The Elder Scrolls 6. “I think this system should be implemented into the next Elder Scrolls,” said one comment on Reddit. “I love it already.” This has resulted in players feeling that a lot of these new features will make it into The Elder Scrolls 6.

“I mean, it makes sense that they’d sneak a few experimental things in there, they’d be idiots not to,” noted another player. “I honestly think this was a test bed of a TES game through a new engine. I know the old engine is still there in the background apparently but it seems logical,” another comment said.
With the pressure mounting on Bethesda, especially after the failure of Starfield, it would make sense to use Oblivion Remastered as a testing ground. And, considering how successful it’s been, this is a great sign for the development of The Elder Scrolls 6.
