You Can Actually See Through The Oblivion Gates In The Remaster
The Oblivion Gates are the central theme of the game, acting as portals between Tamriel and what is essentially hell. While they were just swirling flames in the original, the remaster has made it so that you can actually see what’s on the other side of them. It may not seem like much after games like Marvel Rivals, but it’s a big step up for Oblivion, and fans absolutely love this little detail, as demonstrated by aRedditor.

It’s safe to say that Nightdive Studios smashed it with this remaster. With The Elder Scrolls 6 maybe coming sometime this decade, Oblivion Remastered is a great way to keep interest alive.
