Naturally, withMonster Hunter Wildsbeing out for around a month now (andselling over ten million copies in that time), Thomas the Tank Engine mods have begun to make their way to the game. Strangely, though, this time, they’re different from most other mods featuring the train.
Thomas The Tank Engine Is Finally In Monster Hunter Wilds
Typically, Thomas the Tank Engine mods replace one of a game’s pivotal enemies with the train. The Elden Ring mod replaces theTree Sentinelwith Thomas, and the Sekiro version uses Thomas instead of the Great Serpent. Monster Hunter Wilds does things differently.
Over the past week, a pair of mods have popped up on Nexus Mods that replace two of the game’s iconic weapons with the blue train.
Thefirst mod, uploaded to the website by GrizzlyAdams77 replaces the fully upgraded Artian Hammer with a rocket-powered version of Thomas the Tank Engine, andthe second, added by Balthorr, changes the Artian Lance to Thomas.
If you feel that changing your weapons to a whopping train might make things cumbersome, then asecond GrizzlyAdams modmight be the one for you. This time, the modder has replaced the game’s Seikret model with Thomas the Tank Engine, allowing you to ride freely through the game via train.
The Thomas mods are the latest evolution from the already-strange Monster Hunter Wilds modding community. Before now, players had mergedNata with the Arkveld,removed fur and feathers from the monsters, and, for some reason, they made Alma “more attractive”.
