Summary Baldur’s Gate 3’scast of characters are brilliant, elevated by some wonderful performances by incredibly talented actors. You pick out pretty much any character, and you’d get a great performance, such as Jennifer English as Shadowheart or Samantha Beart as Karlach, but the one that stands out -netting himself an award in the process- was Neil Newbon as Astarion. It was an incredible performance,helped by Newbon’s genuine love for the character, and now the two are linked forever....

Kaiju No. 8 is ananimethat follows the story of Kafka Hibino, a middle-aged man who spends his days cleaning up Kaiju remains, but longs to join the fight against the Kaiju alongside his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro. When a small Kaiju fuses with Kafka, he gains the ability to transform into one himself, granting him superhuman strength and abilities. This anime’s character designs, action scenes, and setting are among some of the best among newer Shounen....

Summary One of the coolest fan-made projects in recent times has to be Unleashed Recompiled, a fully native PC port of Sonic Unleashed. Recompiled from the original Xbox 360 game, Sonic Unleashed can now be played on PC and runs beautifully. A big thing, however, was that the developer also released the tools to recompile Xbox 360 games on GitHub, potentially opening the floodgates to a sea of PC versions of Xbox 360 classics....

Summary If the name didn’t make it clear, the opening sequence ofClair Obscur: Expedition 33will make it quite obvious that it has a very strong French connection. The city of Lumiere is a post-apocalyptic Paris, with names, fashion, and accents to match with it. While there is a separate French voice cast for the game, the English cast also threw around a few French words. You’ll occasionally hear characters say cuss words like “merde” or “putain”, but the main bulk of the French comes in characters' names....

I don’t usually care much for Donkey Kong. I’ve never really played many of his games, and the ones I have, beat me to a pulp at the fresh age of seven (I’ll never forgive you, Donkey Kong Country).
