Summary
WizKids Pathfinder Battles collection is about to be expanded upon in a major way. TheGamer can exclusively reveal Pathfinder: Planar Perils, an expansion on the Battles miniatures already available, with47 new figures to collect, including two Archdevils who will be making their miniature debuts.
Tabletop RPGs are all about using your imagination, of course, but there’s nothing quite like the aid of miniatures representing the characters and creatures you encounter to really help bring your adventures to life. A lot of devils, demons, celestials, and fiends have been pulled out of thePathfinderuniverse and selected for miniature duty, but it’s the two characters making their figurine debuts that will likely be the ones you want most in your booster boxes.

Those two debutants areMephistopheles and Asmodeus. Mephistopheles, sometimes referred to as Mephisto which might be a name you’re more familiar with if you’re new to Pathfinder, is the ruler of the eighth circle of hell. Asmodeus is technically their boss since they oversee all of hell’s nine circles. Both are now Pathfinder Battles miniatures waiting to be discovered in the new Planar Perils booster bricks.
Pathfinder Battles: Planar Perils Revealed
Welcome Mephistopheles And Asmodeus To The World Of Tabletop Miniatures
You can check out what hat the new additions look like in miniature form above, along with 13 more of the 47 figures that make up the Planar Perils collection. Among them are a Brimorak, a Cultist, a Derakni, and a Gylou. The miniatures vary in size, but all are standing on a clear plastic base so they can be perfectly displayed during gameplay.
While the miniatures available via the booster bricks will vary in size, none of them will be even close to the size of the newly-revealed Diabolic Dragon miniature. Sold separately due to its size, referring to the new dragon figure as a miniature is almost doing it a disservice. The Diabolic Dragon is 12.5 inches talland will, quite rightly tower over all of your other Pathfinder Battles miniatures. Sold separately, the Diabolic Dragon figure will cost $59.99andpre-orders will begin on Jun 13, 2025, releasing in December 2025.

As for the booster bricks, each one will contain four miniatures -one large, and three medium or small. The booster bricks can bebought individually for $19.99, orin batches of ten at a time for $199.90, netting you 40 Pathfinder Battles miniatures in one fell swoop. There’s no way of knowing which miniatures you have until you open the boxes, and similarly to the Diabolic Dragon,pre-orders for the Planar Perils set will begin on Jul 18, 2025, with the items shipping this December.
