The featured Pokemon for the May 2025 Community Day will bePawmi, a Pokemon introduced in the franchise’s most recent generation. With Pawmi being the Community Day Pokemon, itsspawn rate will be drastically increasedduring the three hours of this event, replacing all other Pokemon available to catch in the wild.
One of the most exciting bonuses that comes with being a Community Day Pokemon is itsShiny odds being boosted significantly, making it relatively easy to acquire aShiny Pawmiif you are playing during this event. Excitingly, this will beShiny Pawmi’s Pokemon Go debut, available for the first time during this event.
With the countless Pawmi encounters available during this Community Day, this will be a great opportunity to stock up onPawmi Candy, a resource needed to evolve and power-up Pawmi. Pawmi has two further evolutions:Pawmo, requiring 25 Pawmi Candyto complete, thenPawmot, requiring another 100 Pawmi Candyand traveling25 km with Pawmoas your Buddy Pokemon.

If you do not acquire this Featured Attack during the Community Day event, you can teach Pawmot Brick Break through the use of anElite Charged TM.
