Summary

Persona 4Remake rumors havebeen around for quite a while, though things have been heating up as of late, thanks to a series of subtle hints thatAtlusis cooking. For starters, Persona 4 singer Shihoko Hirata revealed that she wasrecording for an unannounced game, and that this recording was taking place in the studio in which the majority of Persona soundtracks were made. Already suspicious.

Shortly after that, concrete evidence ofwhat appears to be a Persona 4 Remake domain namewas found, which was extremely similar to the domain names of previously released games in the series, likePersona 3 ReloadandPersona 5 Tactica. Persona 4 Remake Domain Name Update Suggests Imminent Announcement

Well, it now seems as though the big day for Persona 4 Remake may be coming soon too.First reported by Persona Central, it appears as though this alleged Persona 4 Remake domain name was updated earlier today, suggesting that an announcement could be imminent. However, just as Persona Central points out, this update doesn’t indicate an address for the domain’s host.

That potentially means that while Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica were announced shortly after their domain names were updated, we may be waiting a bit longer for Persona 4 Remake. However, this does strengthen claims from insider Extas1s thatAtlus is preparing to announce the title at this year’s Xbox Showcase, which was recently confirmed to be taking place on June 8.

That’s also where Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica were announced in 2023, so it makes sense for Atlus to pick the venue again. If that’s the case, we’re less than two months away from Atlus finally lifting the lid on this thing, and boy has it been a long time coming.
