Summary
Persona 4seems poised to be getting the remake treatment. We haven’t had anything official from Sega or Atlus just yet, but the fact thatPersona 4 singer Shihoko Hirata has been recording for an unannounced game, and therecent discovery of what appears to be a Persona 4-related website domain name, points to a reveal fairly soon.
All we need now is a potential venue for the announcement, and Microsoft ever so kindly stepped up to the plate earlier today by revealing that this summer’s big Xbox showcase will take place on June 8. It definitely feels like the perfect venue, especially since bothPersona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica were announced at an Xbox event in 2023, but now an insider has poured more fuel on the fire.

Persona 4 Remake To Be Announced In June, Claims Insider
This comes from an insider called Extas1s, who recently reshared his claims from earlier this year that a Persona 4 remake will launch on Game Pass on the day of release. Not too surprising since, again, Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica took the same deal, but this new tweet includes the date of June 8 - and the Xbox Games Showcase hashtag - teasing a potential announcement.
Extas1s isn’t the most reliable source in the world, but he does have a good track record when it comes to games hitting Game Pass. He did also recently claim that Hollow Knight: Silksong developer Team Cherry told Microsoft toexpect a June launch on Game Pass, and withother recent hints regarding Silksong’s release window, that looks like it could be true.
We’ll have to see what shakes out, as officially a Persona 4 remake doesn’t even exist yet. All signs are pointing to an Xbox Games Showcase reveal though, potentially with a 2026 release window, so we’ll just have to wait for the big day. Unfortunately, it looks as thoughPersona 6 believers may be waiting even longer than that.
