Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s Shining Revelry Includes Shiny Charizard And Lucario
Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s next expansion was generally expected to be arriving at the end of April, but that is definitely no longer the case, with the next set, Shining Revelry, due for release next week on March 27. This is a ‘Themed Booster’, however, and not a full expansion.
DeNA has confirmed the set features 110 new cards, including new Pokemon ex, new trainers, and a brand new immersive card.
From the trailer, we get a glimpse at a range of the 110 cards promised in the expansion.
Charizard ex and Lucario ex are likely to be the two major chase cards, with both appearing in their shiny forms (A Black Charizard and Yellow Lucario), but it looks like ‘Baby Shinies’ as they’re affectionately known in the TCG will be joining, too. So far, we’ve seen Wiglett, Pachirisu, and Varoom.
The expansion will also include a stunning Tatsugiri art rare card, Sprigatito and Pinsir cards, and Red and Iono Supporters. Alongside those, it looks like there will be nine new ex cards in total, making up the ex Starter Deck Missions. These are:
This means that many of the unannounced cards will likely be the earlier stage Pokemon from these evolution lines. It’s the first time Pokemon from Scarlet and Violet have been included in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket.
