Like clockwork, as the new set releases, and a day before the beginning of May, next month’s event Promo cards have leaked, and they include some more fan-favorite Pokemon like Alolan Ninetales and Mimikyu.
Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s May Events And Promos Have Leaked
Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket has kicked off the Celestial Guardians era with a Rayquaza ex drop event, in which players can earn themselves a niftyRayquazaex promo, but that doesn’t seem to be the only drop event of the next month.
According to the leaks, which werepostedon the Pokemon TCG Pocketsubreddit, a second event will take place with Alolan Ninetales front and center. The new card features a stunning illustration of the majestic Ice- and Fairy-type Pokemon standing on a snowy cliff.
Much like last month, andevery other month for that matter, there will be a Chansey pick event. This time, the two featured promos are Cosmog, which is handy for any Lunala ex or Solgaleo ex decks, and a Lycanroc, which will serve as nothing more than a filler card.
While all the new promos look great, it’s unlikely they’ll do much to Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s refreshed meta — that job falls to the cards in packs, with many new exs, andone very strong item card, set to shake things up more than ever before.
