In keeping with this rhythm, and following March’sShining Revelry, the game’s next expansion has been revealed. It’s titled Celestial Guardians, and will be set number A3, having a big focus on Pokemon from Generation 7’sSun and Moon.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s Next Set Is Called Celestial Guardians, Focuses On The Alola Region

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s Shining Revelry came as a bit of a surprise, with players expecting the next set to release at the end of April, giving them a break following the release ofTriumphant Light. That wasn’t to be the case, but that April expansion has now been revealed as Celestial Guardians. It’s set to release on June 07, 2025.

The set hasbeen confirmedto include over 200 new cards, including Solgaleo ex and Lunala ex, alongside many Alolan Pokemon. While cards don’t typically get shown off ahead of an expansion’s release, the trailer and Pokemon’s official website revealed the following will be part of the new set:

The Pokemon website confirmed that Lillie will be the game’s first ever immersive supporter card.

Alongside the new expansion, Pokemon TCG Pocket is celebrating its six-month anniversary with a special round of missions and solo battles that are set to kick off on April 29. These will include Promo Pack A Series Vol 7 booster packs, which can contain a stunning Rayquaza ex Full Art card.
