Summary
I come bearing bad news. If you live in the UK or US and are after one of thePokemon TCG’sPrismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collections, things are about to get a lot harder for you.
The product appeared on the UK’s Pokemon Center website at around 5 pm local time, and by around 5:15, after massive queues, it had sold out. Similarly, it appeared on the Pokemon Center US at around 1 pm ET and sold out just as quickly.

Pokemon’s Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection Sells Out On UK And US Pokemon Websites
As I was writing this article, I received reports that a similar situation was occurring in the US, so while much of this article is written with the UK in mind, the same can be applied to the US Pokemon Center.
Reports started appearing online that thePrismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collectionhad gone live on the Pokemon Center UK website at just after 5 pm, and the online queue immediately built up.

I joined at around 5:08, and by looking in my browser menus, I found I was in a position higher than 300,000. The queue continued to build after I joined, though, and the highest report I heard was of somebody being 450,000th.
Naturally, with the UK getting significantly less stock than the US, the product sold out near-instantly, leaving collectors disappointed, with many feeling the Pokemon Center was the best chance they would get of nabbing the highly sought-after product.

In the UK, the Pokemon Center has been testing a queuing system for the last few days, and the expectation was that, because of this, something big would be dropping soon. Needless to say, it did with the Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection.
Given the hype around the Prismatic Evolutions expansion, this product was always going to be one of the most wanted in recent times, given what it includes for its relatively low price.
Those lucky enough to grab the product will get their hands on the following for just £89.99, when it releases later this year:
The speed at which the Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection sold out is indicative ofthe wider problem facing the Pokemon TCG currently. Products are becoming increasingly harder to come by from source, as scalping groups or individuals are purchasing them and selling them on the secondary market at a much higher price.
