The Zoldycks fromHunter X Hunterare a family of legendary assassins who have continued the assassination tradition for many generations. Even in the world of Nen and powerful hunters, the Zoldyck family is untouched by official authorities despite being wanted criminals.
The Zoldyck family is simply too strong for any authority to prosecute them. They’re so confident in their abilities that even their home address is public information that anyone can access. This doesn’t stop bounty hunters from trying their luck, but they’re usually dealt with right at the gate by the Zoldyck family’s butlers. This makes you wonder which of the Zoldyck family members are the strongest.
9Milluki Zoldyck
Second Child
Milluki is by far the weakest Zoldyck member. However, he is still an assassin with a talent for technology and building machines. Milluki uses these machines to remotely kill his targets. He is also a very talented hacker with a great understanding of the underworld.
Despite his talents, Milluki cannot even compare to the rest of the Zoldyck members. They are all skilled Nen users who would instantly be able to take out Milluki. Even Milluki’s machines and knowledge are not enough to go up against his fellow family members.
8Kikyo Zoldyck
Mother
Kikyo might not be thebest anime mom, as she has a very twisted nature that can make her controlling of her children. However, she is certainly a powerful assassin. Kikyo was originally from Meteor City before meeting Silva and officially becoming a part of the Zoldycks.
While not as strong as the rest of the family, it’s evident that Kikyo is skilled. She uses a fan and projectiles to take out her targets. Intricate details of her abilities are largely unknown, but she was able to knock Canary out with a single attack. That’s enough to show that Kikyo is no joke.
7Kalluto Zoldyck
Fifth Child
Kalluto is the youngest member of the Zoldyck family. Despite his age, he is a skilled Nen user with exceptional Zetsu skills that were praised by the likes of Hisoka. He also joined the Phantom Troupe at an incredibly young age and continues to improve every single day.
Kalluto might not look like it, but he is also physically strong. With just his paper fan, Kalluto was able to cut a thick steel rope coming toward him at full speed. Of course, Kalluto also went through the typical Zoldyck training that makes him immune to poison and electricity.
6Killua Zoldyck
Third Child
Killua is known as the most talented Zoldyck ever born. He has incredible agility, stealth that is good enough to hide from Phantom Troupe members, and assassin techniques far above his skill level. On top of that, Killua quickly mastered Nen and developed his own Hatsu. Even seasoned hunters were utterly shocked at Killua’s brilliance.
It’s arguable that Killua got stronger than Illumi by the end of the Chimera Ant arc, thanks to God Speed. However, Illumi’s upper limit is still unknown and Killua doesn’t have as much experience. Regardless, it’s undeniable that Killua will surpass not only Illumi but also his own father in just a few more years.
5Illumi Zoldyck
First Child
Illumi is the eldest child in the Zoldyck family. Naturally, he is stronger than almost all of his other siblings. He uses needle-based powers that are perfect for manipulating other humans. He can also completely alter the look of his face.
Illumi is often together with Hisoka, implying they are around the same level. While it is unclear whether Illumi has surpassed his father yet, we can safely say he would at least be close to him in terms of battle power.
4Silva Zoldyck
Father
Silva lives up to his title as the head of the Zoldyck family by being one of the strongest hunters in the world. He was strong enough to kill one of thePhantom Troupe memberswhen he was arguably not even in his prime.
Hunter X Hunter has not shown the true extent of Silva’s abilities, but he seems to be an intelligent fighter with a mastery over emission. He fired two energy balls from his hands that were strong enough to shake an entire skyscraper.
3Zeno Zoldyck
Grandfather
Zeno Zoldyck is one of the oldest currently alive members of the Zoldyck family. His age isn’t just for show, as he has decades of battle experience that makes him one of thestrongest Hunter X Hunter characters. He has a huge arsenal of emission-based techniques that take the form of a dragon.
With Silva backing him up, Zeno was fighting Chrollo directly and analyzing all of his moves. Even in a one-on-one fight, Zeno stands a strong chance of defeating Chrollo. He also helped Netero raid the Chimera Ant palace and was shown as someone Meruem respected alongside Netero.
2Maha Zoldyck
Great-Great-Grandfather
Maha is not only the oldest Zoldyck, but also one of the oldest humans alive in the world of Hunter X Hunter. His name alone is that of legend, as he is likely the strongest human in Hunter X Hunter. Zeno mentions that Netero was the only person who managed to survive a fight against Maha.
It’s unclear whether Maha was stronger than Netero, but they were at the very least relative to each other. Maha is still alive and works under the shadows to support the Zoldyck family. Very little is known about him, as he only made a single appearance in the original Manga and the old Hunter X Hunter anime.
1Alluka Zoldyck
Fourth Child
Alluka has an unknown entity residing in her called “Nanika.” This is likely a calamity from theDark Continent of Hunter X Hunter. Nanika can fulfill virtually any wish, with no apparent limit to her power.
While Alluka herself is a child with no combat abilities, she is essentially invincible because of Nanika. Even Meruem would not be able to do anything if Nanika simply wished him out of existence. Currently, Alluka/Nanika is the strongest known being in the Hunter X Hunter world.
