How To Start The Two Sides Of The Coin Quest

You can start the Two Sides of the Coin quest byasking around for rumors in Bruma. NPCs will tell you that Arnora and Jorundr used to be a happy couple until Jorundr decided to hide all the gold away from Arnora after committing a robbery and got caught by the guards.

You will be tasked withtalking to Arnora for more information about this incident. You can find Arnora’s housenext to Jearl’sin the southern part of Bruma. Arnora wouldn’t talk to you about Jorundr right away, andyou’ll have to persuade herto make her talk.

After you’ve persuaded Arnora, she’ll tell you that she and Jorundr used to conduct robberies until Jorundr killed a guard and hid all the gold away before he got caught by the guards. She then asks you totalk to Jorundr and make him reveal the location of the gold.

She suggests that after you’ve found the gold for her,she’ll split it with you in half, but she warns you that convincing Jorundr wouldn’t be easy, and he wasn’t the same man she fell in love with seven years ago.

Convincing Jorundr

Earning Jorundr’s trust isn’t easy. You’ll have togo to the Bruma Dungeon, which can be reached by going to the Bruma Castle. Take the first door to the right and you’ll reach Bruma Barracks. There’s a door inside that leads to the dungeon.

Look to your right immediately as you enter, you’ll find stairs leading downwards. You’ll find the jailor sitting at a desk downstairs.Talk to the jailor about visiting a prisoner, and he’ll lead you to the cells.

To earn Jorundr’s trust, you’ll have toget yourself thrown in jail. You can commit any crime, or simply hit the jailor, and he’ll put you in jail. As you come to your senses inside the jail, you’ll find Jorundr talking with Tyrellius. Tyrellius tries to convince Jorundr to reveal the location of the hidden gold, but Jorundr refuses.

you may then talk to Jorundr inside the cell, and he’ll tell you thatit was Arnora instead who had killed a guardand revealed the location of their hidden campsite to Bruma guards, which eventually led to his arrest. Fortunately, he was able to hide the gold before that happened.

Jorundr then asks you tokill Arnora and bring her amulet to him as proof. He also says that you’re able to keep everything that’s inside his hidden stash after you’ve proven that you have killed Arnora. You can then sleep in bed to serve your sentence and get out of jail.

Now, you have to go and talk to Arnora. She will tell you that there’s no need to kill her, and instead, she’ll give you her real amulet, which you can show to Jorundr totrick him into believing that you’ve killed her, and that would make him reveal the location of the hidden gold.

Siding With Jorundr And Killing Arnora

If you decide to kill Arnora, you’ll be able to pick her amulet from her corpse. However,it is not her real amulet. If you bring the fake one to Jorundr after killing Arnora, he’ll tell you that this is a fake and Arnora had tricked you.

However, you can find the real amulet storedinside the chest near Arnora’s bed in her house. You cantake the key to this chest from Arnora’s corpse after killing her. Pick the real amulet up after you’ve killed Arnora and bring it to Jorundr. He will then reveal the location of his hidden stash to be outside Bruma, near the North Gate.

you may then go to the exact location of the hidden stash by following the Quest Marker and take everything inside tocomplete the quest.

If you bring both the real and the fake amulet to Jorundr, he’ll praise Arnora for being clever, and you’ll still be able to complete the quest normally.

Siding With Arnora And Tricking Jorundr

If you decide to follow Arnora’s plan,she’ll give you the key to the chest near her bed. You can access the chest to pick up her real amulet and take it to Jorundr inside the Bruma Dungeon. Jorundr will reveal the location of the hidden gold. You can then head outside Bruma and search near the North Gate by following the Quest Marker to find the chest’s location.

However, just before you reach the chest,you’ll encounter Tyrellius. He would reveal that he had overheard the conversation about the stash’s location in the Bruma Cells, and that he had already killed Arnora so he could keep all the gold.

You will then have to fight and kill Tyrellius. After killing him,you can take his armor and weapon from his corpse. Take the gold from Jorundr’s hidden stash, then go to Arnora’s house to find out if Tyrellius was telling the truth about killing her.

As you enter the house, you’ll find Arnora dead, and it will mark the completion of the Two Sides of the Coin quest, and you’ll be able to keep whatever you find in the chest to yourselfwithout having to share it with anyone.
