Maybe you’ve dealt withthe struggle of turning into a vampire, whether by choice or accident, then gone through the effort of curing it, only to swear off the whole ordeal. But did you know there’s a secret group out there with one mission: to wipe out every last vampire?
InThe Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, the quest Order of the Virtuous Blood pulls you into their ranks as they target a man they suspect to be one of the undead. What starts as a simple task quickly turns into something more, with a surprising twist that makes the entire investigation far more interesting than it first appears.

How To Start The Order Of The Virtuous Blood Quest
Before you can start the Order of the Virtuous Blood quest, you first need to have a fame stat of at least five, and this can be done by completing main quests.
Once you have that, make your wayto the Temple District in the Imperial City, andyou should be approached by a lady called Ralsa Norvalo.

In case you don’t get approached by her immediately, attempt to walk around the area or skip a day.
Once you complete the conversation with her,she will ask you to make your way to Seridur’s house, located just to the east of the Temple District. Head inside, and Seridur will approach you and speak to you.

He will then ask you to follow him to the basement, where he will tell you that they are the ‘defenders’ against the vampires and need your help in cleansing the city of these creatures.
How To Find Roland
The accused vampire that the order has doubts about isRoland, and you need toinvestigate his house, which is locatedjust across the street. Make your way there and lockpick the door.
As soon as you enter, you will find a table to the left side. On this table, there will be a book, buton top of the book, there will be a letter.

Interact with it to read it, and it will mention a secret cabin where Roland and his girlfriend would meet.
This cabin is located to the north-east of the Imperial City, so make your way there. Roland will be home, but he will ask you to hear his side of the story before you proceed.

He claims that Seridur is the actual vampireand explains what happened from his point of view.
Now,here you need to make a decision on who to believe, Seridur or Roland, and this will affect how you complete the quest.
How To Complete The Order Of The Virtuous Blood Quest
Trust Seridur
If you decide to proceed with Seridur’s order, you can directly attack Roland and kill him. After you do that, head back to Seridur andinform him that the ‘vampire’ has died.
This will complete the quest, andyou’ll receive 250 Gold as your reward.
Trust Roland
Now, if you decide to trust the innocent man, because clearly he doesn’t look like a vampire at all, speak to him and choose the option not to kill him.
He will appreciate your trust and will send you tospeak with Phintias, who can be found at his shop, the First Edition shop, in the Imperial City’s Market District.
Make your way there and speak to Phintias, who will tell you about the Memorial Cave, where Seridur makes a few trips. This will be your next location.
The Memorial Cave is located to the south-east of the Imperial City, but before you get there, make sure you have at least a cure for Porphyric Hemophilia, as there are vampires there. Yeah, you guessed it right - Roland was not the vampire after all.
Make your way inside the cave andlook for Seridur at the end,but be careful, as there are multiple enemies on the way. After you confront Seridur, he will talk to you butthen attack you as soon as he finishes, and this is where you need to fight him.
After you deal with him, head back to Roland at his cabin, andhe will be glad that he trusted you because he was telling the truth. He will then make his way to Seridur’s house basement, where he will be the new leader of the order.
Make your way there and speak to him again. This will complete the quest, and as a reward, you will be granted an enchanted ring calledthe Ring of Sunfire.
Additionally, now that you’re an honorable member of the order, you can still remain to kill vampires, but be sure to collect the vampire dust from their corpses, as this will be your proof that you did. You can then show it to Roland, and he will compensate you with some Gold.
