If that wasn’t enough, then, courtesy of Universal Studios' Super Nintendo World, we now know an integral piece of Donkey Kong lore — what Cranky Kong would sound like if he could talk.

Ahead of the official Super Nintendo World public opening, Universal Studios in Orlando held a private showing to select people, where one parkgoer got up close and personal with Cranky.

Of course, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the Donkey Kong-themed ride, featuring a minecart ripped straight from the video games.

Like we said at the top, Donkey Kong fans have been having quite the run as of late. The fact we know what Cranky Kong would sound like is really just the cherry on top of what has been an incredible stretch.
