The Amphoreus arc began inHonkai: Star Railduring the Version 3.0 update, and the developers revealed that this planet has the largest story so far, spanning eight updates. With a new story being added in each update, you slowly witness the obstacles faced by various Chrysos Heir to save their planet from extinction.
The spotlight for the Version 3.2 update was on Castorice and Anaxa, with both of them being playable in the same version. Anaxa is a five-star Wind Erudition character who can work both as a main DPS and a support. However, to use him properly, you’ll have to pay a lot of attention on Anaxa’s build.

Complete Anaxa Build Guide
Before you start building Anaxa, you first have to get him from his limited banner by either winning the 50:50 or going for the guarantee. Once he’s in your account, you canequip him with the best light cones, relics, and planar ornaments available. For light cones, the best choice for Anaxa will be Life Should Be Cast to Flames.
However, since this is a five-star cone, it’s not always possible to get it. Thankfully, as an Erudition character, there are plenty of other choices for Anaxa’s build:

Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm
Crit Rate/DMG > SPD > ATK Percent
Best Anaxa Light Cones
Now that you know all the best gear to use from the table above, it’s alsoimportant to understand why each gear is good for building Anaxa to use him efficiently in battle. Here’s why each light cone mentioned above works well for him:
Life Should Be Cast To Flames
Whenever Anaxa’s turn starts, this light cone gives him 10 extra Energy, which stacks with the Energy from his kit. Moreover,he can deal up to 60 percent extra DMG to the enemiesthat have a weakness implanted by him.
Finally, upon attacking an enemy, hedecreases the target’s DEF by 12 percent, which applies for all party members.

Into The Unreachable Veil
The Herta’s signature light conecomes in a closesecond for Anaxa because of its Crit Rate and extra Skill and Ultimate DMG. The Crit Rate buff is applied from the start while the extra DMG triggers after the first Ultimate.
Moreover, upon using the Ultimate,Anaxa can recover one Skill Point for the teamsince he has a 140 Energy cost.

Before Dawn
While not as good as the two above, this light cone can give Anaxa a decent 36 percent Crit DMGalong with an 18 percent DMG boost for his Skill and Ultimate.
Eternal Calculus
Eternal Calculus is the best F2P-friendly light cone for Anaxa since you can get it from the Simulated Universe shop. It cangive him up to 52 percent ATK along with 16 percent extra SPD.
The Great Cosmic Enterprise
If you’ve played through the Star Rail WORLD event, you may simply use this light cone on Anaxaas it gives him up to a whopping 56 percent DMG boostand 16 percent ATK.
The Day The Cosmos Fell
Finally, this MoC shop light cone can also be a decent pick for Anaxa if you don’t have any of the above since itincreases his ATK by 24 percent while also giving him a 40 percent Crit DMGboost after attacking two enemies with Wind weakness.
Best Anaxa Relics And Planar Ornaments
Relics and planar ornaments are the bread-and-butter for Anaxa’s build since theygive you most of the ATK and Crit stats along with a bunch of SPD. The best relic and planar ornament for Anaxa is easily the Scholar Lost in Erudition and Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Ream sets, but you have other choices depending on how you use him:
Anaxa Relic Set Synergy
Scholar Lost in Erudition
This set serves as the best in slot for Anaxabecause of its Crit Rate and Ultimate/Skill DMG boost. After using your Ultimate, you can deal an additional 25 percent DMG on the next Skill as well.
Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters
If you’re using Anaxa with another debuffer, this set works better for him than Scholar since you’ll have enough debuffs on the enemies. It gives him4 percent Crit Rate, 12 percent increased DMG, and up to 24 percent extra Crit DMG.
Eagle of Twilight Line
Finally, this set can be used as a placeholder if you’re in the early game as itgives him some Wind DMG bonus along with movement advancementafter using Ultimate.
Anaxa Planar Ornament Synergy
You’ll likely use Anaxa with another Erudition unit, and if that’s the case, Izumo works the best for him as itgives him 12 percent Crit Rate and 12 percent extra ATK.
Sigonia, the Unclaimed Desolation
While using Anaxa in Pure Fiction, you can use the Sigonia set as he’ll be defeating a lot of enemies, which will give him up to40 percent Crit DMG along with the 4 percent Crit Rate.
Rutilant Arena
This is the best set for Anaxa if you’re planning to use him as a solo DPS in the team as itcan give him 8 percent Crit Ratewhile also increasing his Basic ATK and Skill DMG when you’re over 70 percent Crit Rate.
Anaxa F2P Team
Anaxa, Qingque, Pela, Gallagher
After getting together the best Anaxa build possible with the availability of light cones, relics, and planar ornaments on your account, the next step is to figure out the team you want to use him in. Out of all Anaxa teams, the one that will give you the most value iswhen he’s used alongside The Herta, Tribbie, and Aventurine.
Tribbie is replaceable here, and you cancompletely focus on The Herta’s damageby putting Sundayor Remembrance Trailblazer.

When Anaxa has another Erudition character in the team, he increases the DMG dealt by all other party members by 50 percent, which is perfectsince both The Herta and Tribbie can deal quite a bit of damage, with Aventurine also having some decent damage on his Ultimate and follow-up attacks.
However, if there are no other Erudition characters in Anaxa’s team, he can get a whopping 140 percent Crit DMG boost. This can stack further with Sunday’s Crit DMGand a bunch of Crit Rate from both him and Remembrance Trailblazer. All these buffs with the right relics and planar ornaments make Anaxa quite a broken main DPS.

Since both Sunday and Remembrance Trailblazer can advance Anaxa’s turn, you can attempt to use the ATK Percent feet piece on him, but you’ll still need as many SPD rolls on sub-stats as possible.
Finally, Anaxa’s F2P team essentially replaces The Herta with Qingquewhile you can use both Remembrance Trailblazer and Pela as the supports. If you use Pela, you can use the Pioneer set on Anaxa as you’ll have three debuffs on the enemies along with one being applied by Anaxa himself.

Apocalyptic Shadow Rating
A Tier
While Anaxa might not be at the highest rankings for his own DPS, he can serve as a phenomenal sub-DPS for other Erudition units, making him an S+ tier unit to use whenever it’s alongside the likes of The Herta. However, you can still use him as a solo DPS in various endgame modes and clear them with the right team members.
Thankfully, Anaxa is one of the few characters in Honkai: Star Rail with an easy-to-understand kit.

Anaxa Kit, Explained
Generally, you’d want to use Anaxa’s Skill when he gets a turn, followed by the Ultimate when it’s ready. However, it’s important to understand how he works to get the most use from him:
Anaxa Eidolons, Explained
Much like every other character, Anaxa has six eidolons, and thethird and fifth ones give additional levels to his abilities. Other than that, here’s what the other four Eidolons do:
Anaxa Trace Priority
Since Anaxa isn’t a Remembrance character, he only has four traces that you have to upgrade for him.His Skill is undoubtedly the priority since you get most of your damagefrom that. After that, you’re able to follow this order for his upgrades:
You can leaveAnaxa’s Basic Attack at level onesince you wouldn’t want to use it in combat anyway.
