9Tyrantrum

Pokemon The Series: XY

Since its inception, Pokemon have included prehistoric Pokemon inspired by real-world fossil remains. But it wasn’t until Generation Six, when we began to explore the Kalos Region, that we finally met a Tyrannosaurus rex Pokemon. The evolved form of Tyrunt, Tyrantrum doesn’t play a long-lasting role in the series, but does star in the episode, The Tiny Caretaker!.

Team Rocket hatches a scheme to steal a Tyrunt, hoping to evolve it into a powerful Tyrantrum for their nefarious purposes. Their plan is cut short when Tyrunt leaps from their hot air balloon, getting stuck among some rocks. Bonnie discovers the stranded Pokémon, frees it, and quickly forms a bond with the little dino.

Undeterred, Team Rocket repeatedly tries to recapture Tyrunt. But when the villains grow more aggressive, Tyrunt evolves into the mighty Tyrantrum to protect Bonnie and her friends, sending Team Rocket blasting off once again!

According to Tyrantrum’s Ultra Sun’s Pokedex entry, “Complete restoration is impossible, allowing room for theories that its entire body was once covered in a feather-like coat,” reminiscent of modern paleontological theories.

Hey, I’m Guzura!

Hey, I’m Guzura! (Oraa Guzura Dado) is a lighthearted and comedic series that follows the antics of Guzura, a mischievous dinosaur who hatches from an egg after a volcanic eruption. From there, chaos and hilarity ensue as Guzura tries to adapt to human society, often with disastrous results.

Hey, I’m Guzura! originally aired in black-and-white, but 20 years later, Tatsunoko Productions decided to give the series a colorful makeover. The series is packed with colorful characters, from eccentric scientists determined to study Guzura to bumbling gangsters who constantly find themselves tangled in his escapades.
