Wuthering Waveshas been surprising the community with its character design every time it reveals a new playable unit, and Cantarella is no different. Released during the Version 2.2 update, this five-star Havoc Rectifier unit was one of the most anticipated because of both her design and lore.

If you’re planning to pull for this character and want to make her strong on your account, you’ll have to build her with some of the best weapons and echo sets while putting her in a synergistic team composition, especially if you’re planning to challenge endgame modes with her.

Best Cantarella Weapons

When you’re trying to get a Cantarella build together, one of the most important parts of her kit is the weapon, which is also the second tab in her character preview screen. Each weapon has a main stat, a secondary stat, and a passive. For Cantarella, the best weapon is her signature, Whispers of Sirens, as it goes well with her in all three aspects.

However, it’s not always possible to pull the signature weapons of every character, andyou have a ton of other choices to find the best weapon for Cantarellaon your account:

Whispers of Sirens

Five-Star

Cantarella’s signature weapon gives her a whopping 72 percent Crit DMG with 12 percent ATK from the passive. Moreover, after casting two Echo skills, which is pretty easy for her, you can get more buffs.

These buffs include a40 percent Basic Attack DMG bonus and 12 percent Havoc RESshred on the targets. All these buffs easily make it the best weapon for Cantarella.

Rime-Draped Sprouts

This isZhezhi’s signature weapon, and it can suit Cantarella surprisingly well. It gives a similar Crit DMG and ATK boost as above whilegiving a Basic Attack DMG bonus when you use your Resonance Skill.

You can stack this effect up to three times. When you use your Outro Skills with three stacks, yougain a massive 52 percent off-field Basic Attack DMG bonus.

Four-Star

If you’replanning to use Cantarella as the sustainer of the team, this rectifier suits her perfectly as it gives her some Energy Regen while also increasing her healing bonus after using her Liberation.

Fusion Accretion

You’ll get a bit of ATK as the secondary stat on this Rectifier. Moreover, your Resonance Skill can give you someextra Resonance Energy and increase your ATK further, making this a decent pick for sub-DPS Cantarella.

Augment

you may get this weapon if you buy the premium tier of the battlepass, and it serves as a great four-star choice forDPS Cantarella since it provides Crit Rate as the secondary stat.

After using your Liberation, thisweapon also increases her ATK by 15 percent.

Jinzhou Keeper

This is a fairly simple weapon, butone that also works well for Cantarella’s build. It gives you some ATK as the secondary stat and some more ATK when you cast your Intro Skill.

Guardian Rectifier

Three-Star

Finally, if you don’t have any of the above weapons, you’re able to use this three-star weapon on Cantarella toget some ATK and Basic Attack DMG bonus.

Cantarella Echo Guide

Theecho system in Wuthering Wavescan be quite complicated since you not only have to choose the perfect set for each character, but also a primary echo for each set and main/sub-stats for each echo piece. Thebest echo set for Cantarella’s Build is the Empyrean Anthem with the Hecate primary echo. However, you have a bunch of choices that give similar value:

Best Cantarella Echo sets

Empyrean Anthem

This echo set is tailor-made for Cantarella as it increases her Energy Regen while alsogiving her a whopping 80 percent Coordinated Attack DMG, which is one of her main damage outputs.

When your Coordinated Attack gets a Crit hit, theATK of your active resonator increases by 20 percent for four seconds.

Midnight Veil

You’ll get a similar value from this Echo set as the one aboveif you’re using Cantarella alongside a Havoc main DPS. This one increases her Havoc DMG by ten percent.

Furthermore, it lets you deal high damage upon triggering your Outro Skill and alsogives the incoming resonator a 15 percent Havoc DMG boost.

Moonlit Clouds

Moonlit Clouds is essentially abudget version of Empyrean Anthem for Cantarella’s build, but you can use it if you don’t have the latter unlocked yet.

Rejuvenating Glow

Finally, if you’re planning to use Cantarella as the sustainer of your team, you can use this set to give her someHealing Bonus and extra ATK to all resonators.

Best Cantarella Primary Echoes

Apart from paying attention to the set bonuses you may get for each echo set, you also have to figure out the best primary echo while building Cantarella. These primary echoes are usually the four cost echoes you equip, and each set has a different one.

Hecate

When you have this echo in Cantarella’s main echo slot, you can increase herCoordinated Attack DMG by an additional 40 percent.

Lorelei

This echo gives Cantarella12 percent Havoc and Basic Attack DMG bonus, which are both great for the type of damage she deals.

Impermanence Heron

This echo regenerates a bit of Cantarella’s energy when its first attack hits the opponents while also letting theresonator who comes after your outro skill deal 12 percent more damage.

Bell-Borne Geochelone

Upon using this echo’s skill, your current team member takes reduced damage while increasing her damage by ten percent. This effect disappears when the active resonator takes three hits.

Echo Stat Priority For Cantarella

Each echo piece has various possibilities when it comes to their main stat, andyou’d want to choose these echo stats to get the most valuewhile building Cantarella:

Cost 1

ATK Percent

If you have Crit Rate on your weapon’s secondary stat, you can go for Crit DMG as the main staton the four-cost echo.

However,if your weapon doesn’t have any Crit, you’d still want to go for Crit Rate.

The best echoes to use on Cantarella are as follows:cost four (main echo), cost three, cost three, cost one, and cost one. If you’re having trouble with getting Cantarella’s Liberation back in time, you can use Energy Regen as the main stat on one of the cost three echoes.

However, the ideal scenario is using a double Havoc DMG bonus to get the most damage from her. you’re able to look for Energy Regen on the sub-stat for each echo piece alongsideCrit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK Percent, and Basic Attack DMG bonus.

Best Cantarella Teams

Once you’ve decided the best build for Cantarella using one of the weapons and echoes mentioned above, the next step is to find the perfect team members for her. Cantarella excels at dealing a bunch of Havoc DMGboth on and off-field since she can trigger coordinated attacks with her Liberation(more on this below).

With her Outro Skill, she can alsoincrease the Havoc and Resonance Skill DMGof the incoming Resonator. Your first thought might be to use Cantarella as the team’s sustainer since she can heal the party, but her Outro buff doesn’t continue to multiple characters, making herworse than Shorekeeperor Verina in that regard.

Unfortunately, no character can fully utilize Cantarella’s outro buffs yet sinceno unit deals both Havoc and Resonance Skill DMGyet.

The best team that Cantarella cancurrently be used in consists of her, Shorekeeper, and Camellya. In this team, Camellya acts as the main DPS while Cantarella supports her with the damage boosts from her Outro Skill and echo sets. Shorekeeper will be the main sustainer since she can provide massive buffs to both characters on the field.

Here’s what the rotation for this team should look like:

If you don’t have Camellya, you can use Havoc Rover or Danjin as an F2P replacement. Similarly, Verina or Baizhi can be used instead of Shorekeeper in this team with Cantarella.

Cantarella Forte Overview And Priority

Much like every other character in Wuthering Waves, understanding Cantarella’s kit by reading the in-game description can be quite difficult. However, there’s a much simpler way of explaining the main aspects of the kit.

Cantarella’s Abilities, Explained

Cantarella has a total ofthree different Resonance Skills and two sets of Basic Attack, Mid-Air Attack, and Dodge Counter. While this sounds overwhelming, it’s quite easy to understand:

Cantarella Attack Combination

Since Cantarella is mainly used as a quick-swap sub DPS in the team,it’s important to learn her attack combinations to be highly efficient. Ideally, when you switch to Cantarella with her Intro Skill, you’ll already have her Resonance Liberation ready, which is how you start the combination.

After the Liberation, use her Skill and you should already have maximum Trance points. Hold your Basic Attack button to switch to Mirage mode anduse your Skill before holding the Basic Attack button again. This will quickly give you three stacks of the Shiver effect.

Holding your Basic Attack in Mirage stateconstantly uses your Basic Attacks.

Finally, use your final Resonance Skill and you should haveenough Concerto points to switch away from Cantarella to your main DPS. You can use your echo skill just before switching so that you can animation-cancel it.

Cantarella Forte Priority

With Cantarella, you’ll find yourself dealing most of the damage with theCoordinated Attack from your Liberation, making it a priority for upgrades. After the Liberation, you can upgrade her Forte Circuit, and then her Skill. You can leave her Basic Attack unupgraded since you’ll never use it.

You can also upgrade her Intro Skill a little when you have the materials, but it’smore important to unlock her Inherent Skills and other abilities.
