Seeing a young Obi-Wan in The Phantom Menace is a treat. It’s only the beginning for this Jedi padawan as he joins Qui-Gon to deal with trade negotiations. Unfortunately, this doesn’t last long as the Trade Federation sends droids to eliminate the Jedi.

This card depicts the thrilling escape as Obi-Wan ignites his lightsaber and battles the droids. As the padawan and master find a way off the ship, they end up on the planet below.

Touching Down On The Planet Below

Multi-Troop Transport depicts the opening shot of the Gungan swamps. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon manage to stow away with the transports and make it to the Naboo surface. However, their troubles are far from over.

They soon find themselves running away from these massive vehicles as they tear through the swamps. As Jedi and wildlife run away from the oncoming destruction,the two keepers of the peace meet an unexpected ally.

The Dark Side Clouds Everything

This card literally has the name of the film in its name. Another card from Legends of the Force, this one depicts Darth Sidious discussing plans with the Trade Federation. Little do they know that they’re being played.

The shadowy ambiance is a bit different from the actual scenes where Sidious’s hologram rides on top of a crawling droid. However, it is a sinister-looking card asthe galaxy slowly heads towards Sith rule.

A Fateful Encounter

After escaping the clutches of the Trade Federation, the heroes end up on the desert planet, Tatooine. There they must search for parts to repair their ship. Along the way, they meet Anakin Skywalker, a young boy with an affinity for the Force.

This card depicts Anakin at his home, working on C-3PO. Little does he know that his droid would go on to see the rise and fall of the Republic.

The Sith Has An Apprentice

With Amidala and the Jedi nowhere to be seen, Darth Sidious brings in his new apprentice, Darth Maul into the mix. This is more than the Trade Federation bargained for as they realize they now have to deal with two Sith calling the shots.

This card depicts Darth Sidious introducing Darth Maul through a hologram. The text also references the iconic line from the film spoken soon after this revelation.

The Droids Prepare For Battle

Fast forwards past the pod race and an alliance has been made with the Gungans. Now, the final battle commences. As Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon prepare to assist Padme in taking back her planet, the Gungans prepare to take on the droids.

The droid transport vehicles arrive and deploy an entire army. This card depicts the battle droids emerging from the ship as they activate in all their mechanical glory.

Darth Jar Jar Or Just A Lucky Gungan?

As the battle commences, Jar Jar Binks finds himself promoted to Bombad General. This is a position he isn’t qualified for. However, if he can become a senator, then so be it. The battle isn’t easy, but Jar Jar manages to hold his own with his incredible luck. Or could it be… the force?

This card depicts Jar Jar Binks heroically unleashing an avalanche of big boomers on the droids. It is also one ofthe more colorful cards in Twilight of the Republic.

4Darth Maul, Sith Revealed And Qui-Gon Jinn, Student of The Living Force

Cards That You Can Hear

One look at these cards and you can already hear the music. As the war outside rages on, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon come face to face with Darth Maul. The cloaked menace removes his cloak and ignites his lightsaber.

These leader cards depict the moment in which Darth Maul reveals his double-bladed lightsaber and the Jedi follow suit. This isn’t going to be an easy fight for the young Jedi and his master, but it must be done.

3Bold Resistance

Queen Amidala Joins The Fight

While the Jedi fight, multiple battles ensue. This card depicts Padme Amidala leading her small group of resistance fighters towards Nute Gunray and his people. With Captain Panaka close behind, there isn’t much time to save the day.

This card, aside from depicting such an iconic moment from the prequels, also has a nice hue to it. The lighting gives it a more cinematic feel to it as they race towards their targets.

Anakin Takes To The Skies

In this card, a young Anakin Skywalker finds himself inside a ship on auto-pilot. With the help of R2-D2, Anakin is able to release the controls and fly it manually. His first trick? He’s going to try spinning. Why? Because it’s a good trick.

Of course, Anakin is able to infiltrate the droid command ship and take it down from the inside. While some of it is due to luck, his escape is made possible thanks to his pod racing skills. With the droids deactivated, there is one more fight to follow.
