While the pickaxe serves as a tool to gather ores, explosives are the main way you’ll bring yourself and your vehicle down the layers of the mine inUltimate Mining TycoononRoblox. Having a strong explosive is key to having a successful tycoon on the surface, and becomes necessary in the deeper layers of the mine.
Seeing as you can only have one equipped at a time, some explosives can be skipped as they provide a small upgrade for the cost. Below you’ll find a list of explosives you should buy, how to buy them, and at which depths they each excel.
What Explosives Are
Explosives come in the form of eitherdynamite or C4 unitsthat can be placed on the walls of the mine todestroy the area and quickly deepen the tunnelyour server is digging, or the tunnel you’re digging yourself, andexpose a large surfacefor potential ores to appear in.
They become essentialwhen trying to get vehicles deep into the mine, as the explosives generally provide a hole big enough for any vehicle to get through.
Explosives destroy ores, and don’t add them to your inventory — their main purpose is to expand a tunnel, not to gather ores, sobe careful if you notice valuable ores in the walls, as multiple tend to spawn close to one another, and may be destroyed.
Explosive Stats Explained
Explosives have aPower, Range, and Charge stat;Powerindicates thehardness of the materialthey can destroy, and theRangestat scales with it, as it indicates thesize of the explosion, depending on the ratio between the hardness of the material and your explosives' power.
The explosive can have as many charges as theChargestat indicates, which regenerate one after another, and let youplace multiple at once.
Where To Buy Explosives
The only place where most explosives can be found is inMadattak’s Dynamite Shack, which is a bit hidden. It isn’t next to the other stores in the game, and is instead foundcloser to the player plots.
Opposite of the way to the mine, there’s acurving pathon the side of the hill which leads upwards,behind the plots. Here you’ll see a field of holes in the ground (presumably from explosions), and the store isthe only house at the end of this road. The only explosive that doesn’t show up here is the Nuke.
How To Get The Nuke
The Nuke is unique, asit’s the onlysingle-use explosive. It can be found in the Robux Store, under Equipment, for200 Robux.
It creates amassive hole in the minesand announces to the entire server when it’s placed.
Best Explosives You Should Get
The jumps in prices of these explosives can get quite large, and sheer statsdon’t always scale with these jumps.The way the Power stat works can be a bit confusing; small jumps in Power can be good for certain layers, but more Charges with less Power give the same result with more versatility,so they’re preferred.

If you don’t have any explosives whatsoever,this is a great starting point, as the next dynamite stick already costs ten times this amount. It’s best usedin the first layer of the mines, so if you’re just starting the game, it’s incredibly useful.

The jump in performance here isfar biggerthan the stats may entail, asthese recharge way faster, and so the jump in price is very understandable. With the power of this explosive, you may expect toclear Deep Stone easily.
The reason why we recommend skipping so many explosives is thatmaking $7,000 in the early game is quite easyif you explore a tunnel made by more experienced players. Once acquired, it can be used to make apersonal tunnel for yourself in the Deep Stone layer.
Alternatively,if you’d prefer more charges, you could go for theLevel Three Stick of Dynamite, as it has a similar effectiveness, though with less range. The reason we don’t recommend it directly is that the Bundle of Dynamites allows you to make a tunnel thatyour vehicle can fit in more easily.

Two
The next jump may seem large at first, but simply put,the Level Two upgrade just isn’t worth the price. With this, you get two charges that are almost twice as strong, making eventhe Bedrock layer accessible. The jump in profits in this layer is huge, so taking advantage of thatwill speed up your progression by a lot.

Jumping over Level One, this explosive also has two charges, thoughthe jump in power makes the Primordial Rock layer accessible. This is a big investment, however, so verify you have an appropriate pickaxe and mini-truck first.

Three
The second-to-last explosive in the game, this explosive is the only logical step from the previous one. Level Three is just such a small upgrade for the price,we can’t justify wasting money on it. This one almost doubles the power and gives you an extra charge to play with, makingthe Tectonic Stone layer accessible.
This C4 explosive and the one after it arenot good investments in general. They shouldn’t be your priority, and we recommend you direct your profits everywhere else you can before purchasing these.

The strongest explosive in the game would naturally make this list, as it is the final destination of anyone willing to domore than one rebirth. While it may be the strongest and have the biggest range, the jump in price is massive for the benefits you stand to gain, soweigh your options carefully before purchasing.
