Pokémon Legends: Z-A releases in late 2025, and people are starting to speculate about what sort of Pokémon we’ll be able to find in this new rendition of Lumiose City. The first Legends game, Pokémon: Legends Arceus, was set in a past version of the Sinnoh region, so we naturally got all the Sinnoh legendaries and mythicals in that game.

But we also got Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, and a new addition to the line-up: Enamorus. So, it is pretty safe to assume we’ll get all the Kalos legendaries in Legends Z-A, but there are still some other region’s legendaries we’d like to see.

8Silvally

Silvally is a cool, interesting legendary Pokémon, but is unfortunately forgotten by most fans, and The Pokémon Company as well. It hasn’t received much love since its introduction in Generation VII, besides an appearance in Generation VIII, Sword & Shield.

An inclusion in Legends Z-A could work to give some much-deserved attention to an otherwise overlooked legendary, and it could also serve a purpose in-game: In Legends Arceus, we had a Pokémonthat could change to any type you wanted, Arceus. Silvally can fill in that same spot, which would be awesome.

7Raikou

The electric side of Johto’s legendary dog trio. Many think that Raikou is the member of this trio that has received the least amount of love, so this could be a great opportunity to change that. It could have its own side-quest with some lore attached to it.

Now, Raikou has technically received some love, getting a past paradox version in Gen IX, Scarlet & Violet. The thing is, Raging Bolt is, technically, a different Pokémon, as similar as it may be, so there is no reason not to give Raikou some much-deserved attention in Legends: Z-A.

6Suicune

The second part of the dog trio, Suicune. As opposed to Raikou, Suicune has had a lot of attention in past Pokémon games over the years, especially in its very own Gen II’s Pokémon Crystal version, where it was the box-art legendary.

It, of course, has its own quest-line, and you could catch it just by playing through the game’s main story. It, too,has a past paradox in Scarlet & Violet, Walking Wake. So yes, he might not be in such need of attention as Raikou, but we can’t separate the dog trio, right?

5Entei

To finish up this part of Johto’s legendary trio, we have the fire-type, Entei, because if you include the other two, you have to include them all. Like Suicune, Entei has had its fair share of time in the spotlight, mainly thanks to Pokémon 3: The Movie, where it plays a major role.

Like the previous two dogs, Entei also hasa past paradox version in Scarlet & Violet, Gouging Fire. Similar to Raikou, Entei was very annoying to catch in the original Gen II games, as well as the remakes in Gen IV, because they are roaming Pokémon, so it’s time to change that.

4Latios

Latios, The Eon Pokémon. For some reason, it just makes a lot of sense to include in Legends Z-A, with the whole modern-futuristic-smart-city aesthetic the game is going for, a Pokémon that pretty much resembles an airplane just fits perfectly.

Who knows, maybe The Pokémon Company could give us a new version of the Eon Flute from Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire and let us soar in the skies on the back of Latios, like they did in those Gen III remakes, working as some type of fast-travel once again.

3Latias

The counterpart of the Eon duo, Latias. Because you can’t have Latios without Latias. Everything that applies to Latios will apply to Latias as well. From the airplane’s resemblance to a modern-day, technological city, to the fast-travel mechanic.

In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, you get just one of the two, depending on the version you own. Maybe in Legends Z-A, you could choose between one of them, the one you like the most. In any case, both of these also benefit fromthe return of Mega Evolutions, making it another perfect fit.

2Mew

Just picture this: you are playing through Pokémon: Legends Z-A, you have finished most of the game’s main missions and story, then you get a sidequest or rumor you should check out on your Rotom Phone, something about a weird truck.

You fast-travel there, investigate for a bit, and you get a cut-scene: The truck begins levitating through the air, revealing the 151st Pokémon, Mew, ready to be fought and caught. This could be a perfect setting and opportunity to use that famous urban legend from the original Pokémon Red & Blue and make it come true.

1Mewtwo

As you can expect, if we have Mew in Pokémon Legends Z-A, we must have Mewtwo as well. Maybea new form or variant? The in-game explanation could be that they found out Mew started roaming around the Kalos region, and decided to follow it.

Once they knew about Mew’s location, they tried to clone it once again, this time, in one of Lumiose City’s state-of-the-art laboratories, giving birth to a new Kalosian Mewtwo of some sort. Of course, we doubt The Pokémon Company will do something this crazy anytime soon, but we can dream, and it is still a cool idea.
