Summary
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33has your characters facing their own mortality in a last-ditch attempt to save everyone. However, they don’t have to complete that journey while wearing any old rags. There is a litany of eye-catching andfashionable outfits for your characters to obtain during the adventure. In fact, each of your party members has a bunch ofoutfitsthey can wear.
None of them make you more durable, dangerous, or provide any gameplay benefits at all. They are strictly cosmetic items meant to make your characters look good. Several of them certainly accomplished that goal. The following ones are the best-looking, though.

There are some outfits that share a name, but they’re different for each character. In this list, you can tell which version is being referenced based on the character names below the outfit name.
8Expedition
Gustave, Lune, Maelle, Sciel, and Verso
Looking at the Expedition outfit should grow tiresome since it is the default costume and is seen in all of the game’s promotional material. Yet, somehow, the outfit remains a treat for your eyes throughout the adventure.
The black and gold coloring goes well together, and it’s nice that each character has their own version of the getup, explicitly designed for them. Also, they’re the designated outfits for the Expedition, making them a logical choice of clothing from a role-playing standpoint.

7Painted Me
Maelle
Maelle is one ofthe best characters in the game, and she is also among the best-dressed. She has a few excellent outfits in the game, one of which is named Painted Me. It looks like a mix between a motorcycle outfit and a military uniform from a sci-fi movie.
The costume deserves plenty of credit for looking distinct from every other outfit in the game. More importantly, it’s simply a sleek-looking getup. The outfit has a bit of an evil vibe, so it doesn’t perfectly suit Maelle’s personality, but it still looks good.

6Clea
Maelle, Lune, And Sciel
Explaining who Clea is would dive too far into spoilers, but all you need to know is she wears a white t-shirt and a blue skirt. That outfit can also be donned by Maelle, Lune, and Sciel. It makes for a lovely casual getup.
“Casual” is the right term, as unlike many other civilian outfits in the game, this one doesn’t have your character all buttoned up and looking prim and proper. The top few buttons are undone, and the sleeves are rolled up. So, it makes your characters look a bit more laid back, which is a nice change from most of the others.

5Danseuse
Lune And Sciel
Lune and Sciel’s Danseuse outfits are difficult to describe. They are not the sort of clothes you typically see humans wearing.
They’re bodysuits that look both fiery and icy at the same time, creating a unique and powerful effect. The outfit also contains a ghostly cape that is partly translucent. Together, it feels otherworldly and makes the wearer look like a spirit. It also makes the wearer look really cool and unique.

4Lumiere
Monoco
Monoco doesn’t get as many outfit options as other characters. However, he gets one truly stunning one called Lumiere. To put it simply, it’s a sleek black suit. Monoco doesn’t initially seem like a character that would fit a suit, but it’s actually a great look for him.
The silver trim, red tie, and white shirt all look sharp. The rolled-up sleeves are a nice touch, too, adding a bit of casual flavor to the look, which better fits Monoco’s personality.

3Skirt
Lune
Lune’s skirt outfit is one of the more underrated looks in the game. It isn’t as fancy as many other outfits, but it’s a nice, smart casual getup. The black shirt and chestnut red skirt go well together.
The fact that a black shirt is included at all makes it quite a bit different from Maelle and Sciel’s skirt outfits, which makes the whole costume stand out more. It isn’t an outfit that suits the adventure they’re on. But in other circumstances, you could see Lune wearing something like this.

2Renoir’s Suit
Gustave And Verso
There aresome great relationships in the game, but the one you have with Renoir is more fractious. He is a major antagonist, after all. While you may question his attitude and personality, you can’t knock his style.
The man wears a beautiful black suit with some gold trimmings and a silver vest. It’s a great look that can be adopted by both Verso and Gustave, who look just as sharp in the getup.

1Pure
Gustave, Lune, Maelle, Sciel, And Verso
The Pure outfits for the humans don’t get credit for originality. After all, they share the base design with the default Expedition ones. The difference is that these are white and gold instead of black and gold. This small change makes them flashier and even more beautiful.
Plus, the base design of the Expedition outfits is already great, so by adding this new color scheme, you get a superb look that still makes sense to wear while adventuring.
