Stardew Valleyis one of the coziest games out there. You play as a farmer moving to the valley, and work to raise animals, mine and fish, and make friends with the locals. You can even get married, cook, and collect your favorite items.

There are so many ways to play this game, like making the best use of your spaces. You can place furniture wherever you want, including in town. This means you can place machines just about anywhere, which is perfect for maximizing your space. Take over every inch of the valley, setting yourself up for success.

Any machines in the way of an NPC’s path will be destroyed.

10Quarry

Perfect Addition

The quarry is the perfect place for machines. At first, you don’t want to disturb it because you need the extra stone. However, once you’ve unlocked all the mines, there isn’t as much of a need for it anymore. It’s easy to access, so it’s the perfect space to change and add machines to.

you may set up Bee Houses to create honey, especially since you only have to go back every few days. You can also set up preserve jars and fruit trees if you prefer that to honey. If you still want the benefits of the quarry, just use half of it for machines and keep the other half free.

9Desert

Solar Panel

The desert is the perfect place to put Solar Panels. Solar Panels create battery packs after seven days in the sun, and it never rains in the desert. Battery packs are used in so many recipes, and they can also be given as gifts and sold for 500g.

You want to put Solar Panels because they require zero upkeep. You don’t need to bring anything to the desert; you don’t have to plant fruit trees. They just exist and help you. There are zero negatives. You can put them all over or use them to create paths wherever you go, such as from the busto the Skull Cavern.

8Beach

Worms Galore

A lot of players don’t maximize their beach use. Yes, of course, you may put crab pots in the water, but you don’t always carry around bait for them. That’s why you should put a line of worm bins around: to have an endless supply of bait for fishing and crab pots.

You should also put recycling machines around. They can take any trash that you get and turn it into helpful items such as stone, cloth, and refined quartz. You’ll get some trash in your crab pots, and you may also fish up trash from the ocean, so these machines really benefit you.

7Ginger Island

Bountiful Machines

Ginger Island has so many different areas; you could fill any of them with your machine of choice. There’s no harm in putting Kegs, Bee Houses, or Preserve Jars. However, if you want to work with Ginger Island the way that it is formatted, you should use Seed Makers and Bone Mills.

you’re able to put Seed Makers near the Ginger Island house where you can plant things. It’s helpful for general planting but also forthe Qi Crop Challenge. The Bone Mills can go up near the dig site, where you can put all the bones you collect in to make fertilizer. You can use the fertilizer back on the farm or on your Ginger Island Farm.

6Bus Stop

Kegs And Hoppers

The Bus Stop is a small area, but that doesn’t mean you can’t maximize it. Clear out the trees and add a bunch of Kegs and Hoppers. The Hoppers add the materials directly to the kegs so that you don’t have to worry about putting items in all the time.

It’s close to your farm, so it’s easy to grab items on your way somewhere or when you’re coming back home. Plus, you’ll always have wine or beer to give to Pam, who’s right there most days, or coffee to take with you to the desert.

Don’t forget, you can age your wine in casks in the basement to maximize profit.

5Train Station

Light It Up

The Train Station could end up being a relatively unused area. Other than the bathhouse (and some quests), the only reason you head up there is whenthere is a train passing by.That’s why you should put machines where you don’t need to do upkeep there, so when you do go up, you get “free” supplies.

Lightning rods are absolutely perfect for this. you may use the rods to line up the area, and when it rains, there is a chance that you will get Battery Packs. These don’t take up a lot of room and if they’re left alone, and you forget they’re there, it’s no big deal. It’s just added money when you do remember.

4Path Above House

Gems

A path above the farmer’s house leads to the mountain lake. Multiple residents are there, including Linus, Robin, Demetrius, Sebastian, and Maru. On that path, you should place Crystalariums. you may put some in between trees (or tear them down to have more room).

You can put whichever gemstones you want into these. Diamonds are great, and most people like them, but you can include some NPC favorites like Frozen Tears. When you go over that path, you’ll get gems you can use as gifts or sell for a profit.

3Mountain Lake

Mines

When you go in and out of the mines constantly, you end up with ahuge supply of geodes. And while you can take them to Clint, it can take a long time and a lot of money. So outside the local mines, near the Mountain Lake, you should put a bunch of Geode Crushers.

All you have to do to use them is put the geodes inside. It doesn’t take too long for it to reveal a gem, and if you have ten or so, you can get through a hundred in a matter of minutes. You can make Geode Crushers with two gold bars, 50 stone, and one diamond.

2Secret Forest

Slimy Slimes

This one might come as a surprise, but a good alternative to the slime hutch is using the Secret Forest as a place to grow slimes. You can place a Slime Incubator, which hatches eggs into slimes, and a Slime Egg Press, which creates slime eggs. Slime Eggs can be worth lots of money, so having a little slime area is worth it.

The Secret Woods is technically a different area from the Cindersap Forest, so your slimes will stay there. It’s a great way to farm slimes outside your farm without having them take over the entire game (which can happen when you hatch slimes in town).

1Cindersap Forest

Near Wizard’s House

One of the most under utilized areas in the Cindersap Forest, near the Wizard’s house. The best machine you can put here is the Wood Chipper. You can get Wood Chippers from the Carpenter’s shop (Robin’s shop) for 1,000g.

When you put driftwood or hardwood inside, Wood Chippers will give you special items such as wood, maple syrup, oak resin, or pine tar. It takes three in-game hours to convert the items.
