Summary
Pokemon Tools act as attachments inPokemon TCG. Any Pokemon can hold a Tool as long as they meet the card’s specific criteria. Some Tools make your Pokemon capable of unleashing incredible power. Others allow them to gain some extra HP to keep them in the fight longer. Other Tools will even grant a Pokemon a brand-new Move that they can use.
With so many Pokemon Tools to look at, surely there are some that are considered the best of the best? There is a good selection in the bin of Tools, from basic ones you see every day to powerful Ace Specs that you can only carry one of them in the deck at a time.

10Binding Mochi
Poison Isn’t So Bad
First appearing inthe Shrouded Fable set, Binding Mochi is great for Poison decks. With Janine’s Secret Art letting these Darkness-type decks get more Energy at the expense of becoming Poisoned, Binding Mochi can use this to power up your Moves.
40 extra damage goes a long way towards collecting those coveted prize cards. However, it turns one of the biggest downsides into a positive. Cards that would normally Poison your Pokemon for searches or for free Retreats now also power up your Pokemon as well.

9Ancient Booster Energy Capsule
Extra HP For Ancients
Ancient Booster Energy Capsule first appeared inthe Paradox Rift set. This Pokemon Tool only works with Ancient Pokemon, but becomes a vital tool for Ancient decks for standing power. This card not only gives the Pokemon holding this 60 more HP, but it also negates all current and future Special Conditions.
That’s pretty solid protection when you want to prevent your opponent from taking prize cards. More HP also means your Pokemon might just get an extra swing during their time on the Active Spot.

8Hop’s Choice Band
Extra HP And Damage
Hop’s Choice Band is an incredible Tool that can be found in the Journey Together set. Not only does it give you a neat little damage buff, but it also lowers the cost of a Move by one Colorless Energy. This can help you speed up your setup and cut costs.
Of course, it’s important to know which Pokemon you want to give this Tool to. With the right Pokemon, you can strike hard at your opponent very early in the game by making your Energy goals more attainable.

7Bravery Charm
Power Up Your Basics
Basic Pokemon can go a long way, especially when they stay Basic while they’re on the field. Bravery Charm appeared inthe Paldea Evolved setand lets those Basic Pokemon get an extra 50 HP as long as they hold it.
When you have powerful Pokemon ex that you don’t want to see demolished in a single turn, Bravery Charm helps them tank through the hits. If you’re lucky, your Pokemon will live and get another turn to do whatever it needs to do on the field.

6Technical Machine Evolution
A Single-Use Move
The Paradox Rift set brought in some Technical Machines. In-game, these little discs are capable of teaching your Pokemon some fresh Moves. In the TCG, this works similarly, but giving the Pokemon holding it a specific Move they can use as long as they can pay the cost.
Technical Machine: Evolution lets you use Evolution. This Move costs one Energy but lets you Evolve two of your Benched Pokemon using cards from the deck. This heavily accelerates Evolution decks even if the Move can only be used once before this Tool disappears.

5Technical Machine: Turbo Energize
Instant Energy Acceleration
Technical Machine: Turno Energize, is another Pokemon Tool that contains a single-use Move. This time, the Move is called Turbo Energize, though it still costs only one Energy to use. This lets you take two Energy from your deck and attach it to your Benched Pokemon.
This is a great Pokemon Tool, since it lets you turn any Pokemon into an Energy accelerator for your deck. This means fewer Pokemon cards dedicated towards this sort of strategy and more dedicated to your main game plan.

4Rescue Board
Cheaper Retreats
It may not be as good as Float Stone was, but Rescue Board does the trick. This Tool first appeared inthe Temporal Forces setand lowers the Retreat Cost of the Pokemon holding it by one Energy.
If your Pokemon is nearing a critical condition with HP at 30 or less, then the discount allows you to Retreat it for free. This is perfect for when your opponent manages to almost score that one-hit KO, but they fall short. This Rescue Board can save your life.

3Hero’s Cape
The Biggest HP Buff
Ace Spec cards are some of the most powerful Trainer cards in the game. In fact, they have so many uses, the deck is only allowed to carry one at a time. One of the Ace Spec that falls into this category is Hero’s Cape.
Raising your Pokemon’s HP is already a great way of landing another hit or withstanding a one-shot-kill from your opponent. Hero’s cape offers more of the same with zero restrictions as to which Pokemon can hold it. It also grants an additional 100 HP.

2Sparkling Crystal
Power To The Tera Pokemon
Sparkling Crystal may seem like the average Energy discount card at first glance. Read a little closer, and you realize just why it’s so good. This card lets Tera Pokemon use Moves for one less Energy. This isn’t just a Colorless Energy discount, it means any Energy type.
Plenty of Tera Pokemon have cheap Moves already while others use multiple types to get these finishers going. Sparkling Crystal makes it easier to get these Moves online so you can reap the benefits of their damage output and additional effects.
1Maximum Belt
Attack At Full Power
Pokemon ex are some of the more powerful card types in the game. So, naturally, there needs to be a way to get rid of them easily. Maximum Belt is an Ace Spec that gives your Pokemon’s Moves an extra kick with 50 more damage on Pokemon ex.
Like some of the other Ace Spec, this card first appeared in Temporal Forces. It gives any Pokemon the chance to land harder hits on Pokemon ex due to its lack of restrictions on which ones can hold this Tool.
