What makes Lune an interesting party member inClair Obscur: Expedition 33is that she doesn’t have one playstyle. She can help with the damage from her various powerful attack-based skills. If that’s not your flavor, Lune can be an asset to keeping your team alive longer with her utility-based skills. Plus, she has Stains, which amplify her entire kit.

All these things, when combined, make Lune not just an important character but an asset to your party. To get the best of both worlds and to optimize Lune’s best qualities, this guide will show you her best build.

Best Weapon And Skills To Use

Most of Lune’s power comes from herskills and Stains. However, her weapon does pack a punchwhen you’ve upgraded it enough.

Weapon

HerTroubadimweapon utilizes the free aim mechanic. At level 4, you get to hit another enemy at random using the free aim. Then,at level 10, the free aim damage increases to 50 percent. The important aspect of this weaponis at level 20. Every time you use free aim, you’ll earn a random Stain.

The main goal of this build is to have a constant supply of Stains activated at once because, as mentioned, her skills increase tenfold.

Skills

When you first get to Luna in the story of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, she has to work her way up to make her hits count. By purchasing the following skills, she may have more weight in her attacks.

Lune is an elemental fighter. For any of the elements she uses (Fire, Ice, Lightning, Earth, and Light), she earns a Stain. For example, if she performs an Earth-based Earth Rising attack,Lune will earn one Earth Stain. Or if she uses a skill likeElectrify, Lune will generate two Lighting Stains.

you may see how much Stain each skill generatesby hovering over the skill.

She can only bank up to four stains at once. So make sure you’re consuming Stains as much as you’re collecting them.

Healing Light

You get to heal aselected character by 30 to 40 percent. It also negatesstatus damage. It does costfour Action Points, but if you have three Earth Stains, it doesn’t cost anything. In late battle, when you’ve exhausted your elixirs, this will be a contributing factor to the battle going in your favor.

Mayhem

This skill takesall the Stains you have and allows for a massive attack on a single target. If you havefour Stains activated, it adds Break onto the attack.

Lighting Dance

This will bethe expensive skillin the loadout. It costsseven Action Points and hits a single target for six hits. Plus, when you consumeFire, Ice, and Earth Stains, the attack does more.

Thunderfall

Between this skill and Lightning Dance, you’ll be using Thunderfall more. Mainly because it costsfive Action Points, but alsohits a target between two and six times. Having aFire Stain increases the damage.

Earth Rising

While it doeslow damage, you can peck away at all targets' health at once. For extra power,a Lightning Stain increases the damage. The caveat is thatit costs three action pointsand generatesEarth Stains, which would make the Healing Light skill free.

Electrify

You may be using this skill as yourmain attack movefor the build. It does low damage, but hits theenemy three times and generates two Lightning Stainsper move.

Electrify acts as thebase skill that generates Stains. Plus, if you constantly use her normal attack while using the cheaper skills, you’re able to accumulate Action Points quickly. While you bank Action Points,Earth Rising can act as crowd controlsince it can hurt more than one enemy at once.

So, while you’re bringing the health down,Lighting Dance and Thunderfall add extra powerbehind the scenes of your turn. Mayhem can complement those attacks when it takes away a massive chunk of healthif you have enough Stains.

The best part is that while you’re doing these attacks, you’re gaining each Elemental Stainto make all these skills hold more. As mentioned, the constant generation of Stainsmakes all your skills do more damage.

Healing Light makes it so you may play more aggressively since you and your team have a cushion. Meaning that if things go south, you can usethis affordable skill to heal yourself or another memberat a constant rate. But remember, when you get three Earth Stains, it’s free.

If you have the Rebirth Skill, consider using that instead of Healing Light. You won’t be able to heal, but you can revive a fallen character with up to 70 percent health and two additional action points.

Best Attributes To Use

For Attributes, this is the order you can use. However, it’s recommendedthat you tweak each Attribute slightlyto ensure Lune is playing the way you want for your playstyle.

The reason this order works well is thatLune isn’t that durable. Giving her a massivehealth boostallows her to stay in the fight since she’s the main healer. Next, Might in second place is because many of her low-damage attacks can take awaylarge portions of the enemy’s health.

Most of her Skills haveCritical Attack buffs; by increasing theLuck Attributehigh enough, your attacks may be critical. In turn, they do tons more damage.

Agility and Luck are both interchangeable. you’re able to go back and forth and invest in them to keep them equal. However,if you invest more in Agility, she’ll be able to attack more often. When Lune has a second or third attack, she can gain Action Points faster, which results in her using her Skills more often.

Being able to use Lighting Dance and Mayhem in the same move may make the battle end faster than it started.

Even though this is last on the list, it’s a good idea tofocus on Defenseas much as you can. Luna has more health for this build, but it’s a good idea to make sure she can withstand more oncoming attacks.

Best Pictos And Luminas For Lune

The Pictos in this build employ her important aspects. Such as herfree aim mechanic, giving her Action Points, and making herattacks do more at lower health.

When it comes toLuminas for Lune, there’s more room to pick and choose what passives you want. This build already makes her a capable fighter and can keep both her and the party alive. But by adding certain Luminas, she can fight better.

This setup makes itso she can gain a high number of Action Pointsfor doing several actions. Plus, having the chance tohit first and allowing for a follow-up movecan help you use those expensive skills early on.

Ultimately, this build is about making her use her loadout right as the battle begins. The base attack does help, but now you may rely on her skills and her free aim more without losing many Action Points. With this, you have more options in how you deal with the many fights.
