While playingWuthering Waves, you have to create a team of three characters, one of which is usually the main DPS while the other two support the first one with either their off-field damage or buffs. Zani largely fits in the main DPS slot for your team since she can easily deal over 500,000 damage each rotation.
Zani is a five-star Spectro character wielding a Gauntlet as her weapon, and apart from some smooth animations, she also has a lot to her kit. During her release, Zani is also a bit situational, but if you build her properly and fulfill the required conditions, she can easily destroy the toughest bosses in the world.

Best Zani Weapons
As you build Zani in Wuthering Waves, the weapon is one of the most important parts of her kit. Unfortunately, a lot of her best choices are the limited weapons that you can only get when a certain character is featured on the banners. Of course, the best weapon for Zani is undoubtedly Blazing Justice, which is also her signature.
You have quite a few choices apart from that, though as you go down the choices mentioned below, you also lose a lot of damage potential:

Blazing Justice
Five-Star
This signature weapon gives her a whopping 48.6 percent Crit DMG upon being fully leveled, which isphenomenal for Zani’s build since she needs to focus on quite a few stats. It also gives her an extra 12 percent ATK just by being equipped.
Moreover, when you attack enemies with your Basic Attack, she canignore all enemies' DEF and deal much higher Spectro Frazzle DMGfor the next six seconds.

Tragicomedy
Thisis Roccia’s signature weapon, but it also fits Zani perfectly if you don’t have the first option. It cangive her over 24 percent Crit Rate with a similar ATK percent boost as above.
Furthermore, just like Blazing Justice, a special effect triggers when you use your Basic Attack or Intro Skill, whichmonumentally increases her Heavy Attack DMG for the next three seconds.

Verity’s Handle
Verity’s Handle comes in the third place when it comes to Zani’s weapons as it gives hersome Crit Rate along with a 12 percent Attribute DMG bonus, which buffs all of her damage.
You can also gain extra Resonance Liberation DMG after casting it, which can help you deal much higher damage on your second Liberation (more on this below).

Abyss Surges
This is the best F2P-friendly weapon for Zani since you can get it from the Standard Banner easily. While it does give her someATK, Energy Regen, Basic Attack DMG, and Resonance Skill DMG, the overall value decreases quite a lot.
You’ll also have a hard time getting a decent Crit ratio on her if you’re using this weapon.

Legend of Drunken Hero
Four-Star
This weapon can becrafted after getting its blueprint in Rinascita, and it gives her a ton of ATK, especially after attacking the enemy with her Heliacal Ember effect.
Stonard
If you’re able to get this weapon from the battlepass, it can give a decent boost to Zani’s Crit Rate. However, the Resonance Liberation DMG from its passive isn’t as usefulas the Heavy Attack DMG bonus on her.
Celestial Spiral
Finally, you can use this general weapon to get some ATK on Zaniwhile also having an easier time getting your Liberation backafter casting your Resonance Skill.
Zani Echo Guide
Once you’ve decided on the best weapon for Zani in your account, the next step for her build is diving into the echo system, which takes much longer because of the RNG factor. Thebest echo set you can have on Zani is the Eternal Radiance set with Capitaneus as the main echo, making her one of the few characters that use a three-cost as the main echo.
Best Zani Echo Sets
Eternal Radiance
This echo set is tailor-made for Zani as it gives her some Spectro DMG with two pieces anda whopping 20 percent Crit Rate after getting five pieces. This Crit Rate boost applies when she deals Spectro Frazzle to the enemy, which is quite easy.
When you attack an enemy with over ten Spectro Frazzle stacks, you’re able to enjoy another 15 percent extra Spectro DMG bonus.

Celestial Light
If you don’t have the above set unlocked yet, you can also useCelestial Light to get a 40 percent Spectro DMG bonusfor 15 seconds after using her Intro Skill.
Best Primary Echoes For Zani
The echo you use in the top (largest) slot in theecho system gives your character additional buffs, and here are the echoes that suit this position for Zani the most:
Capitaneus
Equipping this echo on Zani while building her gives her an additional12 percent Spectro DMG and Heavy Attack DMG bonus, which are both phenomenal for her.
Nightmare: Mourning Aix
If you don’t have a good Capitaneus echo, you can also use this one to get the first half of the bonus mentioned above. Theecho can also deal additional damage to enemiessince they’ll always have Spectro Frazzle.
Mourning Aix
Finally, upon using this echo’s skill, Zani can enjoy12 percent Spectro and Resonance Liberation DMGfor 15 seconds.
Cost 1
ATK Percent
If you’re planning to use one of the weapons without Crit Rate as their main stat, you’lllikely need Crit Rate on Zani’s Cost four echo’s main stat.
However, she can get a 20 percent Crit Rate boost from her best echo setalong with some more if you’re using Shorekeeper, which makes it easy to get too much Crit Rate.

Here are the best echo formations for Zani depending on your set:
As for sub-stats, you’d want to look for as much Crit Rate/DMG as possible along with some rolls onATK Percent, Heavy Attack DMG, Energy Regen, and Resonance Liberation DMG. It’s important to have over 120 percent Energy Regen while building Zani to have a smooth rotation, with 130 percent being the sweet spot.

Best Zani Team Compositions
After getting together the best Zani build possible on your account, the next step is to decide who you’re going to use her with. Zani’s best team involves Phoebe and Shorekeeper, and switching out any of these characters will reduce her damage output quite a lot. However, you can useSpectro Rover instead of Phoebe and Verina or Baizhi instead of Shorekeeper.
Shorekeeper’s role in the team is self-explanatory since she can not only continuously heal the active character, butalso provide a massive 12.5 percent Crit Rate and 25 percent Crit DMG boost. On the other hand, Phoebe is mainly used to apply a ton of Spectro Frazzle stacks on the enemy, with thebest case scenario being 19 stacks in each rotation.

While using Shorekeeper in this team, you’llhave to keep your rotations tightto fully utilize her buffed Intro Skill.
Here’s what your rotation will look like in this team:
Zani Forte Overview And Priority
Wuthering Waves doesn’t make it easy to understand a character’s already-complicated kit with their descriptions. While reading Zani’s kit might make it seem like she’s hard to play, it’s quite the opposite in reality.
Zani Abilities, Explained
Zani deals most of her damage during her Resonance Liberation, butit’s also important to understand how her Skill workssince it can make combat much easier for you:
Zani Attack Combination
The first part of Zani’s combination during combat starts as soon as you start the battle. Before switching to another resonator, it’simportant to trigger her special basic attack after the third attack to get some Forte bar. When you eventually switch back to Zani, you may first use your special Resonance Skill along with a few attacks.
After that, trigger her Liberation and start attacking the enemies constantly. When your Liberation first starts, both your basic attack and Skill can be held to parry the enemy’s attack, which will skip a couple of stages of your special attacks, allowing you to deal the best attack faster.
This parry can be situational, andif the enemy isn’t close to attacking you when you start your Liberation, it’s better to use your normal attacks instead.
When you finish two cycles of these special attacks, you can use Zani’s second Liberation and switch off of herto repeat your rotation.
Zani Forte Priority
While building Zani, it’s important to upgrade her Forte Circuit firstsince the multipliers for her special attacks in the Liberation are buffed here. After that, you can upgrade her abilities in the following order: Resonance Liberation - Resonance Skill - Basic Attack - Intro Skill. The last two abilities here are optional.
