That rumour has sadly not been proven true yet, and we’re all sitting around twiddling our thumbs for some kind of update.While we wait for Bethesda and Virtuos to pull back the curtain on the remaster, a reliable leaker has potentially given us a bit more information about Oblivion Remastered to go off of.
As pointed out by Redditor Reynor247 on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, the latest leak comes from Twitter user and Marvel Rivals dataminer X0X_LEAK, who has been spot-on with their claims regarding that game. Out of nowhere,the Twitter account randomly shared an image of the remasterand claimed that it’s going to be a whopping 120 GB.
That probably doesn’t come as a surprise considering how massive Oblivion is and how detailed the remake looks to be from what we’ve seen so far, but it’s still a huge file size that’s going to take some hard drive clearing to accommodate.X0X_LEAK shared an imagefrom what appears to be a Steam listing (perhaps linked to the Boosteroid leak from yesterday) showing that it’ll be 120 GB overall.
As with all leaks and rumours regarding The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, it’s worth taking it all with a pinch of salt until Bethesda officially announces the project.It does seem to be legitimate from the images shared by X0X_LEAK, though, and with so much of the game leaking already, it’s not too hard to believe that the file size is out there already.
