Summary
The First Descendantis a game known for being sexualized, something which is a badge of honor for the community and development team. Late last year, the teamedited a cosmetic to show a little more of a character’s backside, andfollowing a question during a Q&A, the development teamadded jiggle physics to the game. It then added a hot spring, seeminglyjust to show off these new physics.
Now, in anotherQ&A at PAX East, a First Descendant fan showed no fear as, live and in person, they questioned the development team about a character’s toes.

The First Descendant’s Creative Director Was Just Asked About Toes At PAX East
At PAX East, The First Descendant’s creative director, Minseok Joo, and its producer, Lee Beom-Jun,took to the main stageto talk about the game’s upcoming content. This included a look at Season 3, the addition of hoverbikes, and most surprisingly, a collaboration with Square Enix’s Nier Automata.
Following the presentation, The First Descendant’s development team opened the floor to the audience for a Q&A, and it didn’t take long for things to go into uncharted territory.
After a grand total of one(!) audience member didn’t mention a body part, a second stepped up to the plate with a two-part question. The first, rather innocuously, asked the development team what it was like developing unique characters such asLuna. The second asked about her toes.
“On Luna’s recent swimsuit skin, her fingernails are painted black, but her toenails are not. Please fix,” said the audience member about 46 minutes into the livestream. Clearly, the translator was caught off guard, asking the questioner to repeat themselves, which they were happy to do.
The team had a good chuckle at the question, with Minseok Joo sharing that the lack of toenail paint was a bug that would be fixed as soon as they got back to Korea.
Once again, The First Descendant is living proof of “if you don’t ask, you don’t get.”
