This Special Art Rare version easily eclipses the regular Art Rare version, as Clemont is in the midst of another of his experiments.
Trainer cards like this one are unusual cases, as which trainers are popular differs between the English and Japanese markets. While there’s not a huge difference to speak of with Clemont, it’s something to keep in mind for cards like this, as certain trainers will command way more money in one language than the other.
7Durant ex (Special Art Rare) – $13.15
Marching Along
Speaking of the relationships between English and Japanese cards, Durant adheres more closely to the conventional wisdom that most modern Japanese cards are worth less than their English counterparts (promos notwithstanding).
However, Durant’s appearance as a Special Art Rare is the bigger talking point, as this Pokemon hasn’t previously received an artwork anywhere near the quality of this one. While this card’s market price isn’t particularly high, there’s little doubt that this will be Durant’s best card for the foreseeable future.

If you’re a Pikachu aficionado and prefer to opensets that contain Pikachu cards,then Super Electric Breaker is a fantastic option for you. If you enjoy thebeautiful Pikachu cards in Surging Sparks,then Super Electric Breaker offers a cheaper alternative via wonderful Pikachu cards like this one.
This Pikachu Super Rare is the cheapest of the three best Pikachu cards in Super Electric Breaker, but that doesn’t detract from this card’s simple elegance.
5Jasmine’s Gaze (Special Art Rare) – $29.49
Eating Well
Jasmine’s Gaze offers an amazing scene, as we catch Jasmine in the middle of chowing down on an enormous sandwich – she’s a hungry gal. This artwork deserves a place amongthe most expensive full art trainer cards,though the English version of this card hasn’t quite soared high enough just yet.
While adorable trainer scenes like Jasmine’s typically receive more love in Japanese, this card has flown under the radar on the price charts, though it still stands out as the most valuable trainer in this set. It’s likely to challenge for a higher spot in the future.
4Hydreigon ex (Special Art Rare) – $42.48
A Gorgeous Mess
The Hydreigon ex Special Art Rare stands out as one of the most divisive cards in Super Electric Breaker, as you might gather from its price tag. There’s nothing inherently wrong with this card’s market price, but it’s stuck in an awkward position as much more valuable than Jasmine, but not near the Pikachu card above it.
The strange price gaps in this card can be attributed to the artwork itself, as the card is gorgeous up close, but can be very hard to appreciate from a distance or through a screen. Hydreigon is far from the most popular pseudo-legendary, so that seals its fate as a good-but-not-top card in the set.
3Pikachu ex (Ultra Rare) – $55.65
Yellow & Gold Greatness
We return to the Pikachu hype train as this Pokemon holds a firm grip on the most valuable cards in Super Electric Breaker. The Ultra Rare features a stunning golden background that shockingly doesn’t melt away into Pikachu’s yellow color palette. The two colors exist in harmony, and Pikachu remains distinctly visible, in part, thanks to its Tera crown.
While Tera crowns initially drew the ire of collectors, it’s clear based on price trends that cards like this Pikachu are still in high demand, despite the presence of the Tera crown. Sometimes, the Pokemon TCG market just needs time to acclimate to new ideas.
2Milotic ex (Special Art Rare) – $72.10
Unrivaled Grace
One idea that you’ll quickly warm up to is the level of quality and detail in Milotic ex’s gorgeous Special Art Rare, which claims the runner-up spot. Milotic is renowned as a beautiful Pokemon with one of the best visual designs in the series, and this card impressively does it justice.
Even though Milotic’s front half is obscured by its position on the card, we can still admire its serpent-like form glimmering with pastel blue and pink accents. Expect this Milotic to remain a strong second-place finisher among the most valuable cards in Super Electric Breaker.
1Pikachu ex (Special Art Rare) – $220.56
A Pika Above
Despite a valiant effort from Milotic, it falls short of the most valuable card in Super Electric Breaker: the Pikachu ex Special Art Rare. Given that this card’s English version easily makes the list ofPikachu’s most valuable cards,it’s no surprise that the SEB version also commands an impressive price tag.
This Pikachu, like all Japanese cards, features different texturing from the English version, which immensely changes this card’s appearance, particularly around the eyes.
It’s recommended to inspect this card in person before you buy it, as the visual difference is significant.
