Summary
It’s finally time for both worlds to converge! BT21 World Convergence marks the first booster set of theDigimon Card Game, where both the Western and Japanese games are combined in one cohesive meta. From this point on, the Digimon Card Game is released simultaneously worldwide. This means that many card prices will shift across the board.
This set contains tons of support for the AdventureStarter decksin the common and uncommon slots, but that doesn’t mean that the high rarity cards aren’t worth quite a bit. To celebrate the World Convergence, Bandai released a ton of chase cards containing signatures of the artists who drew them. These are the most valuable and expensive to buy.

10Agunimon (Rare Pull) - $53.55
Artist: Naochika Morishita
Most of the chase Rare Pull cards are not a part of the set. They are older cards that were voted for by fans to get brand-new alternate arts drawn by popular artists in the Digimon Card Game.
This Agunimon is not only an incredible piece for Red Hybrid players, but it’s also drawn by the mighty Naochika Morishita. If you’re a fan of Gundam, you’ll know who this legend is. This menacing Agunimon is a great addition to your collection.

9Lanamon (Rare Pull) - $59.51
Artist: Tonamikanji
Even though the BT18 Hybrid Digimon outside of the Agunimon and Lobomon line got a bit swept off to the side, this Lanamon was on the players’ good side. At least enough to receive an alternate art in BT21 World Convergence.
This Lanamon is drawn by Tonamikanji, one of the more versatile Digimon artist out there, with some of their work being mostly featured on some of the Digimon Liberator characters. While this card might not be as competitive as other Hybrids, it still includes the coveted signature, making it worth it on its own.

8WarGreymon (X Antibody) (Rare Pull) - $62.50
Artist: As’Maria
It has been a while since X Antibody decks were at the top of their game, especially BT9’s WarGreymon. While the card has been power crept a bit, it is still one of the most popularX Antibodyforms in the series.
This version of the chase card is drawn by As’Maria, and if you’re familiar with the Digimon Card Game, then you know how prolific this artist is. This signature even includes the catchphrase “Get the victory!!”, making this WarGreymon even that much cooler.

7GraceNovamon (Rare Rull) - $70.70
Artist: Nakato Haito
Level 7 Digimon are some of the strongest cards in the game. To go past the Mega level is no easy feat for any regular Digimon. Leave it to the protagonist from Digimon Dusk and Dawn to DNA into the all-powerful GraceNovamon.
This card shows the mighty power of the Galaxy Digimon in full display. GraceNovamon looks so menacing, you’ll even forget that he’s not a part of theRoyal Knightsbut rather a fusion of two of the Olympos XII.

6Puppetmon ACE (SP) - $124.80
Artist: Nakano Haito
On top of all the Rare Pull cards from World Convergence, BT21 still has a couple of SP cards with extremely low pull rates. The cheapest of the bunch is the Puppetmon ACE.
This card is a part of the Wind Guardians, a type of Digimon that were first introduced in thevirtual petDigimon Pendulum. This ACE card is one of the boss Digimon of the deck and just generally an excellent, generic ACE. The pictures really don’t do this card justice. The foil is a marvel to look at in person.

5Tai Kamiya (Rare Pull) - $144.58
Artist: BANDAI
The Secret Rare card from the set is the most popular tamer in the entire Digimon series. Not only is this Tai Kamiya an extremely powerful card for the Adventure deck, but this chase card is also an amazing piece of art, featuring some of the most iconic scenes from the original Digimon Adventure anime.
This card is extremely hard to pull because, at the end of the day, it is still a Secret Rare with a special foil that can only be found once in every couple of dozen booster boxes.

4Galacticmon (SP) - $197.85
Galacticmon already has one of the most interesting designs in the series. This massive spaceship-looking Digimon has one of the more unique abilities in the Digimon Card Game.
Although the deck operates similarly to most single-stack decks, Galacticmon needs the help of all the Vemmon to assemble the Cyborg Digimon. This card is one of the few SP cards in the set and, by far, the best-looking foil of them all. The angle plus the color scheme just seems to work well for the space Digimon.

3Gaiamon (SP) - $224.80
Most people, even Digimon fans, are not aware of Appmon. While not technically Digimon, Appmon are still a huge part of the series, and it’s about time that they made their appearance in the Digimon Card Game. With the addition of these Digimon, comes another mechanic, known as Linking.
Appmon can link into other cards by paying memory and effects will trigger based on what is linked to the card. Their big win condition is the Level 6 Appmon, Gaiamon. If you have fond memories of Appmon, then this is the card to get.

2Medusamon (SP) - $237.34
Digimon Liberator has given fans some of the best Digimon designs in the 2020s. One of the Liberator representatives in World Convergence is Medusamon. This snake lady also includes a keyword introduced in BT21, Progress, making her unaffected by effect while she’s attacking, invalidating any ACE Digimon.
The SP version of the card has an incredible pink hue and shows off Medusamon’s incredible dress and snake hair. If you have enjoyed reading Liberator and are a fan of Owen Dreadnought, grab this card quickly.

1Omnimon (Rare Pull) - $1,400
To celebrate such an important milestone, such as World Convergence, Bandai decided to print one of the most expensive cards in the game that you can pull from a pack. If Agumon is the Pikachu of the series, then Omnimon is the Charizard.
This Omnimon card is the crux of the Royal Knight deck that has been decimating the meta in the BT21 format, but this one is even more special. The art is incredible, featuring both WargGreymon and MetalGarurumon, but the most special part is that these cards come serialized. There are only 350 made of these so if you’ve pulled one, maybe look into an accountant.
