Mickey Mouse, True Friend has multiple printings in different languages. This is the Japanese version of the card. Unlike the English version, this card keeps the flavor text while giving a smaller space just above it for the signature.
This is a case where the Japanese version might just be better than the English version simply for including more of the original card’s features. This also includes the card’s text box color hues which are more yellowish than pale. It’s the little details that make a difference.

Based on one of Mickey’s direct-to-video adventures, Mickey Mouse, Musketeer aims to bring the trio together. It has seven willpower and Bodyguard to help it protect your other characters from challenges. It also has synergy with other Musketeer characters by powering them up.
This promo card has a special marking where the rarity would normally be. This is the Gen Con 2023 stamp where the card could originally be obtained. Sometimes, chasing after rare cards feels like a quest itself as the hunt takes you to different places.

With sparkling effects surrounding the Mouse himself, a gold-printed name text, golden ink cost, and the D23 stamp at the bottom of the card, it is one worth preserving. These features are all exclusive to this printing of the card, with every other version lacking the additional effects.
