How To Start The Rosethorn Cache Quest
After you get your house in Skingrad, known as Rosethorn Hall,make your way to the top floor to reach the bedroom.
In the loft above the stairs, jump up there andyou should find a scroll called Long Forgotten Note.As soon as you pick it up,the Rosethorn Cache quest will start.

Now, it might be a challenge to make your way up to the loft,but if you have a high skill in Acrobatics, it should be fine.
Otherwise, if you have purchased all the upgrades for the house, you may simply jump to the desk, then to the deer statue, and finally to the loft.
How To Solve The Rosethorn Cache Riddle
If you took the time to read the note,you’ll know that what you need to find is an hourglasshidden somewhere in the house. But don’t worry, you don’t have to guess.
Just make your way to the basement. On one of the two wooden pillars, you’ll see thatone has some hanging Garlic Clusters.The Rosethorn Cache treasure, which is the hourglass, isembedded in the top of the frame of this same pillar.
After you pick it up, the quest will be complete, and you’ll be rewarded withthe hourglass itself, the Ring of the Gray, two flawless diamonds, two flawless sapphires, and two flawless emeralds.
