9Edward Elric
Vic Mignogna
The main character Edward Elric is voiced by Vic Mignogna. You will have heard him in some popular anime, including Soul Eater, Bleach, Naruto Shippuden, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Dragon Ball Z. He was also in TheOne Piece: Episode of Sabo: The Three Brothers' Bond, where he played the titular Sabo. As far as video games, you’ll recognize his voice from more big hitters, such as World of Warcraft, where he played Ner’zhul, and Persona 3 FES as Junpei, with other roles in games including Dynasty Warriors, Persona 4, and more.
8Alphonse Elric
Maxey Whitehead
Probably one of her most notable characters, Maxey Whitehead brings the younger Elric brother to life. She has a penchant for voicing younger characters, as proved by her stellar performance with Alphonse Elric. She’s been in several notable anime, including Dragon Ball Kai, Black Butler, Soul Eater, One Piece, Space Dandy, Free!, Tokyo Ghoul, and more.
Some of her video game contributions include Smite, but she will be most recognizable in Dragon Ball games. Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi, Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero as Dende. She’s also been credited as additional voices in several other popular titles.

7Winry Rockbell
Caitlin Glass
Caitlin Glass has had a varied career in voice acting. She’s been in several shows and video games, playing some hugely popular characters. As Winry, she provides the voice of the main support for the boys. A mechanic and surgeon, Glass does a wonderful job imparting that spunk into Winry. Aside from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, you may hear her in other popular anime, including My Hero Academia as Pinky/ Mina Ashido, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End as Methode, Attack on Titan as Petra Ral, Spy X Family as Damian Desmond, Fruits Basket, Dr.Stone, Black Clover, Free!, Dangaonronpa 3, and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and Dragon Ball Super to name a few.
For video games, she’s got a roster just as storied, with performances as Elma in Xenoblade Chronicles X, Cammy in Street Fighter 6, Alcina in Unicorn Overlord, several voices in Borderlands 3, Lian and Cammie in Paladins: Champions of the Realms, Vados and Time Patroller in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and more.

Travis Willingham
Roy Mustang has many fans, and that’s partly thanks to Travis Willingham’s performance. Willingham brings a beautiful and dedicated air to Colonel Mustang’s complexity. For Mustang, the ends justify the means, and Willingham helps portray that on screen.
Travis Willingham has voice acting credits in The Legend of Vox Machina, One Piece, Code Geass, Naruto to Boruto, and a plethora of video game titles as a staple for characters such as Thor and Guile, cementing him as one of the great voice actors of our time.

5Van Hohenheim
John Swasey
The intriguing father of the Elric brothers, Hohenheim is brought to life by actor John Swasey. As a powerful alchemist with serious ties to the Philosopher Stone, Swasey had a lot to live up to when delivering the voice for this father, and he did a great job.
If you’re wondering where you’ve heard Swasey before, he’s voiced several characters in One Piece arcs, Food Wars!,My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Black Butler, No Game No Life, Parasyte - The Maxim, Log Horizon, and Solo Leveling, Spy X Family, From the New World, to name a few. His gaming credits include Borderlands 3, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Dragon Ball Legends (and several other Dragon Ball titles), My Hero Ultra Rumble, and Solo Leveling: Arise.
4Scar
J Michael Tatum
A fantastic character arc needs a great actor at its helm.Scar’s tragic story, which turns into a heroic tale, is portrayed astoundingly by J Michael Tatum. Another veteran in the industry, you’ll recognize his voice from Black Butler, Ouran High School Host Club,Pokemon Horizons: The Series, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga, Demon Slayer, One Piece, Free!, Steins; Gate, Tokyo Ghoul: re and many more.
As for gaming,Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth found its Cid in Tatum’s voice. He was also in Borderlands 3, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Genshin Impact, Soul Hakcers 2, Fire Emblem Engage, and more.
3Riza Hawkeye
Colleen Clinkenbeard
Partner in work to Roy Mustang and a sharpshooter at her best, Riza Hawkeye has several memorable moments in the anime. With a past full of action and some regret, as well as a future that shows her development, Colleen Clinkenbeard works magic by portraying all the layers of Riza. One of her other most popular anime voices is Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece; the other is Erza Scarlet from Fairytale. Bluelock, Black Clover, Attack on Titan, Fire Force, and Free! are also a few to which she lends her voice.
For gaming, Clinkenbeard can be heard in several Dragon Ball games. She voices several characters in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Outside of Dragon Ball she’s also been in Borderlands 3, Orcs Must Die, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Smite.
2Alex Louis Armstrong
Christopher Sabat
Another voice acting veteran, Alex Louis Armstrong is portrayed by the talented Christopher Sabat. He’s a caring ally to the Elric brothers, and while he’s huge and may look intimidating, he’s fiercely protective and a master of combat alchemy. Sabat is well known for voicing Vegeta in several Dragon Ball productions, All Might / Toshinori Yagi from My Hero, and Roronoa Zorro in One Piece.
He can also be heard in Attack on Titan, Steins; Gate, One Punch Man, Yuri on Ice, Tokyo Ghoul, Danganronpa The Animation, Fairy Tail, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, and Solo Leveling. When it comes to Dragon Ball games, Sabat voices several characters, usually doing more than five in each entry he works on.
1King Bradley
Ed Blaylock
A very important figure and the prime antagonist, King Bradley needed a voice that’d portray his importance as the main antagonist. Ed Blaylock took the reins as Bradley’s voice, expertly crafting the character with his skills. He’s shown doing quite dubious things, and Blaylock does an incredible job of taking scenes to the next level.
