Summary
So you want to play an aggro deck inLorcana? Aggro strategies are meant to meet the game’s objectives as quickly as possible. In other TCG, this can mean hitting your opponent quickly with powerful monsters or being able to spam the field with units that can take down your opponent’s base without breaking a sweat.
In Lorcana, you don’t take damage. Instead, you race to see who can be the first to accumulate 20 lore through questing. Aggro decks want to facilitate the use of characters that can generate as much lore as possible. So the best cards are usually cheap, can quest for multiple lore, and keep your hand filled.

10Daisy Duck, Donald’s Date
Quest And Draw Cards
Daisy Duck - Donald’s Date is a card you want to see in your opening hand if you’regoing aggro with Amber ink. This card only costs one ink to play yet has a willpower of four and can quest for two. This makes it difficult to remove in the early game, allowing you to quest multiple times before it gets banished.
The only downside is that whenever Daisy quests, your opponent gets to draw a card and keep it if it’s a character. On the bright side, you get the draw too and that can be useful for keeping your hand from being empty.

9Amethyst Chromicon
Keep The Momentum Going
If you’re playing aggressively, then you need to beat the clock. Otherwise, your opponent will get enough ink to bring out their game plan. Amethyst Chromicon can help your aggro deck speed things along by letting every player to draw a card.
While giving your opponent more cards in hand may seem like it helps them out, an aggro deck is designed around playing low-cost cards. Meanwhile, your opponent may get to draw a card, but if they don’t have the ink to play it, you still have the advantage early in the game.

8Piglet, Pooh Pirate Captain
Stronger Together
Amber has another great aggro card to add to your deck. With the whole game plan revolving around spamming characters as quickly as possible, Piglet can hitch a ride to boost your lore generation. While you have two other characters in play, Piglet can quest for three instead of one.
With Piglet having such a low cost of two, you’re able to get him out easily and start ramping up your lore count. This is also one of those cards where your opponent is going to be pressured into outing it before it gets you too far ahead.

7Cursed Merfolk, Ursula’s Handiwork
Punish Your Opponent’s Challenges
Cursed Merfolk - Ursula’s Handiwork may not have any strength and a measly willpower of one, but being able to generate two lore as fast as it does make up for it. This Emerald card puts you on track to generating lore quickly and if your opponent wants it gone, challenging might not be ideal.
While it may seem like an easy card to get rid of, doing so comes at a cost. Challenging it forces all of your opponents to discard a card. This loses them hand advantage, and if you’re playing with more than two players, makes everyone feel that loss.

6Lilo, Making A Wish
Simple Cards For Quick Lore
While Lilo doesn’t have any particularly good effects, it encapsulates the type of cards you want in your aggro deck. It’s a one-cost card that can quest for two each turn. This means the game has just started, and you’re already on your way to 20 lore.
There are many other cards like Lilo that you may sprinkle into your deck depending on the ink colors you choose to run. However, other cards allow for a small curve in ink for later game plays.

5Pegasus, Gift For Hercules
Opening The Door For Aggressive Shifts
Pegasus can get you places very early in the game as well as after a few turns have passed. This inkable, one-cost character will quest for one while having Evasive to protect itself. So, if you want it on the field, you can play it or ink it to help bring out your other characters.
The best part about Pegasus - Gift For Hercules is that you can Shift it into Pegasus - Cloud Racer for three ink. This gives you a route towards giving all your characters Evasive for the turn while being able to upgrade Pegasus’ stats and lore generation.

4The Queen, Regal Monarch
A Powerful Opportunity
Another card that can be played early and upgraded with Shift is The Queen - Regal Monarch. She is inkable, can quest for one, and has decent stats for her cost. Her best feature is that she can be Shifted at only two ink.
Once you have two ink, The Queen - Regal Monarch can go into The Queen - Commanding Presence. That’s a character with a strength of four and a willpower of three. Not only does she quest for two, but can also weaken your opponent’s characters while buffing your own.

3Merlin, Goat
Literally The Goat
Merlin - Goat is pivotal towards manyAmethyst aggro strategies, even though it is on the more costly side of the spectrum. This Merlin card generates one lore when you play it and when it leaves the field. Leaving the field can mean that it gets banished or if it gets bounced back to your hand.
So the strategy revolving Merlin involves moving it back and forth between your hand and the field. This is a fast way to generate lore once you have enough ink to do so.

2Chernabog’s Followers, Creatures Of Evil
A Card With Multiple Options
Being able to quest early and keep your hand filled is pivotal when your whole game plan has you playing as many cards on your turn as possible. Chernabog’s Followers - Creatures of Evil can be used to quest or as ink for your other characters.
If at any point, you want to see movement in your hand, you can banish it after questing with it to draw a card. The good thing is that this effect happens after you quest and not before it. Therefore, you don’t have to choose between lore and card draws.
1Chernabog, Evildoer
A Massive Aggro Card
Chernabog - Evildoer is a huge body with a cost of ten ink to play. With a stat of nine in both strength and willpower, this character is a menace to have on your side of the field. What makes this such a good aggro card is that you can reduce the cost of Chernabog by having characters in your discard.
This gives you a way to get Chernabog out early so it can quest for three each turn. you’re able to also use it as a response to your opponent milling your cards or forcing you to discard from your hand.
