When you’re building a team in Genshin Impact, DPS isn’t the only thing you have to keep in mind. Your character can only deal damage if they live long enough to do so, after all. As such, unless you’re fully confident in your skills to dodge every incoming attack, having some form of defensive utility in the form of ashielderorhealercan help any team.

Clorinde’s combination of rapier thrusts and pistol shots make her the fastest-hitting character in Genshin Impact. This makes her splendid in teams that value fast hits above larger, harder-hitting attacks. The prime example of this are Aggravate teams, letting Clorinde proc more Aggravate triggers than anyone else.
This also makes her a great teammate for characters that want you hitting lots. For example, Clorinde synergizes extremely well with Fischl, even more if you have Fischl’s sixth constellation due to Fischl performing coordinated attacks each time you use a Normal Attack or trigger a reaction, both of which Clorinde can do consistently.
2Clorinde Is Keqing, But Better
No Stamina Issues, More Damage, And Added Healing
Keqing is one of Genshin Impact’s oldest characters, being a standard Electro DPS from Liyue. She wasn’t the strongest in the past, but the addition of Aggravate and Spread with Sumeru’s release took her from a largely unplayable character to a fairly decent DPS that can compete with many great teams.
Clorinde can be thought of as a non-standard version of Keqing, having the same playstyle of fast Elemental Skill and Attack combos alongside a fast-hitting Burst where she slashes enemies. However, Clorinde improves on parts where Keqing lacked, having no stamina issues, built-in healing, and just overall greater damage potential!

One problem that many strong Genshin Impact hypercarries face is that simply pulling them isn’t enough. If you have Mavuika, you’ll need to pull Citlali and Xilonen to play her best teams. WithNeuvillette, you’ll needFurina. However, Clorinde differs in that aspect.
Clorinde’s best teams consist of Overloaded, Aggravate, and Electro-Charged Teams. In all three team archetypes, Fischl, a four-star unit, is a better teammate for her than any five-star option. Similarly, in each of the aforementioned teams, the strongest characters end up being four-star ones. She can still benefit from premier units like Mavuika on her team, but her most synergistic teams function fine without them.
