Summary
Titanfall 3is probably number one on my personal list of games I want to see released, now that Hollow Knight: Silksong is poised to launch within the next six months. Titanfall 2 is a brilliant first-person shooter with top-notch multiplayer anda campaign that is considered one of the best ever made. Despite that, it never really got the love it deserved in the sales department, and almost a decade later, we’re still waiting for a new game.
However, hopes were reignited recently by two fairly prominent Apex Legends leakers, one of whom is called Osvaldatore, who began teasing the possibility of a Titanfall 3 announcement fairly soon. In a follow-up tweet, Osvaldatore claimed that the game was “almost complete”, would feature a single-player campaign, and would include several popular Titanfall 2 multiplayer modes. If that sounds too good to be true, then it’s because it probably is.

Titanfall 3 Rumors Immediately Shut Down By Insider
On the latest episode of Game Breaking News, industry insider Jeff Grubb categorically shut down all of these rumors, claiming the game being discussed “isn’t real”. While Osvaldatore does have some sway in Apex Legends communities, Grubb has a much more solid track record, and keeps a close watch on the gaming sphere as a whole.
“This isn’t real,” says Grubb, shattering the hopes of every Titanfall fan on the planet. “I’m sorry, it’s not real. There is a Skunkworks team headed up by Titanfall 1 director Steve Fukuda. He’s got a small team over there that is probably messing around with games that have Titans in them. Titanfall 1 creator messing around with a small team, prototyping stuff the way Respawn traditionally does.”
Grubb then goes on to claim that while Fukuda’s game may very well be real, there is absolutely no possibility that it’s nearing completion and will release in 2026. It’s also worth pointing out thatseveral projects at Respawn involving the Apex Legends universe have been scrappedat various stages, so there’s no real guarantee that Fukuda’s game will even see the light of day. Titanfall 3 rumors seem to be hogwash, sadly, and so the wait continues.
