Warhorse Studios Teases Its Next Project, And It Sounds A Lot Like It Will Be Leaning On Its Kingdom Come: Deliverance Expertise
In a new interview with Japanese outletGameSpark, Warhorse Studios' PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwiling, narrative designer Vladimir Mareček, and concept artist Hisami Kawatani shared how the company had evolved over the development of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
“During the development of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, we had around 100 members, but now we have 250 members, many of whom are currently working on developing and debugging additional DLC,” said Stolz-Zwiling before sharing what’s next for the team.
“In the future, we plan to increase our development team to 300 people and develop another RPG game in parallel with the current Kingdom Come: Deliverance project,” he said. “Although it has not yet been decided, when we start production, we would like to continue to create deep, emotional, cinematic, story-based RPGs.”

There are a couple of interesting points of note during this answer. First, the fact that Warhorse Studios plans to start development on its next game, while work on Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is ongoing, and second, the fact that the studio will stick to what it knows regarding the genre of its next project.
Given the success,both critically and commercially, of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, it’s a wise move, and I’m already excited to see what the team cooks.
