What Do We Know About Iron Man So Far?

So far, we know that the new Iron Man game will tell an original story, separate from the comics and MCU, and that it’s being led byMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxyproducer Olivier Proulx.

The initial press releasedidn’t give much more insight about what to expect, buta job listing from 2023did give us a better idea of what the moment-to-moment gameplay might look like.

It called for a developer experienced in “open world and non-linear dialogue”, so it appears as though Iron Man will be an open-world sandbox akin toMarvel’s Spider-Man.

The team made excellent progress this year, hitting a major internal milestone and laying a robust foundation for the journey ahead. Iron Man is an important priority for Motive, and I’m proud of the work we’ve accomplished so far — general manager Patrick Klaus in 2024.

That’s about all we know so far. There’s no word on who’s playing Tony Stark, what the combat and customisation will look like, or which villains might appear. Hopefully, we’ll get concrete answers to some of these questions next week.
