When playing throughFields of Mistria, you might get lost in all the different routines you’ll be doing, from farming to crafting and even foraging. Some might even miss out on events or may not remember how they work. That’s why you should always know at least the important dates of festivals.
It’s easy to lie back and relax in winter, but there’s still one more festival that Mistria celebrates before the year ends. That’s the Animal Festival and there’s even a competition that you can enter if you raise your animals on your farm; you’ll have to beat Hayden, and that’s no easy feat.

What Date Does The Animal Festival Start
The Animal Festival starts on the 10th of winternear the end of the year.The festival starts immediately when the day begins, and you can go straight to Mistria and see what the festival is all about. A few days before the event on the 7th of winter, Adeline will visit your farm to explain what the festival is all about.
If you’re close to getting another heart with an animal, remember to feed and pet them before going to the festival and joining the competition.
How To Enter The Animal Festival Competition
Part of the festival is the Animal Competition, where you’ll be against the other members of Mistria to see who has the best animals. Hayden is always at the top, and it’s your goal to defeat him. To enter the competition,. There are two booths for large and small animals.
How To Win The Animal Festival Competition
When you talk to Josephine at the festival, she’ll explain that to win,you’ll need an animal with a high color tier and as many hearts as possible. An animal can have amaximum of ten hearts and a color tier of six, so ensure your animal is both high tier and well-loved.
It is possible to win the competition with a colored tier one or two animal just as long as they have the maximum ten hearts.
If you win in the Large Animal Competition, you’ll win a colored ribbon for your animal and a trophy; the color of the ribbon and the trophy depends on your placement.The same goes for the Small Animal Competition, but instead of a trophy, you’ll get a Wall Ribbonof the same color as the ribbon for your animal.
What Can You Buy At The Animal Festival
Aside from the competition and the cute cardboard cutouts, you may take pictures with your friends in Mistria.There is also a store where youcan buy different items.Some of the items are locked behind progression, and you’ll need to unlock the corresponding animal firstbefore you can buy them.
