Between the arcing electricity, hostile druids, and secrets seemingly around every turn, a single locked door might seem like small potatoes atAtomfall’s Casterfell Dam. Don’t overlook the storeroom, though, since taking the time to find the key will lead you to lots of useful loot.
Like many such doors in Atomfall, the key to open the Dam Storeroom is reasonably nearby in that you don’t have to go searching the entire Quarantine Zone in order to find it. With this guide, you’ll be able to get the key, loot the storeroom, and move along with your adventure.

Where Is The Dam Storeroom?
The Casterfell Dam takes up theentire northwest corner of the map in Casterfell Woods, and there are several smaller buildings surrounding it. The locked storeroom is located atmap coordinates 20.8E, 90.1N, just north of Billy Gorse’s trading camp.
The storeroom has two doors; the main entrance is locked and can be opened with the Dam Storeroom Key once you find it, while the side doormust be unbarred from the inside.
How To Get The Dam Storeroom Key
The key that opens the storeroom is in a small building on the other side of the main dam area, at22.4E, 91.2N.While you’re making your way there, watch out for druid patrols and beespecially cautious of the aggressive plant growing in the water.
The plant makes its presence known by growing tall when you approach, and only attacks if you get close, butit can cause you to become infected. The best play is to avoid it altogether, but if you have to risk getting closedrink a Strange Tonic firstto help prevent any unwanted status effects.
Once you reach the building, use the exterior staircaseto get to the second floor. The key ishanging on the wall directly across from the door.
On your way back down, check the ruined structure next door. You can avoid the druid noise trap by climbing through a window or going in the door facing the dam, and inside is a note with a hint about an Interchange entrance.
Rewards
Inside the storeroom, the most important thing to take is thecontents of the BARD Crate, which include a Training Stimulant and several rounds of SMG Ammo. There is also agood amount of scrap on the shelves, and some potatoes that are somehow still edible on the pallet at the rear right.
