Your truck is the way you travel around Kaso-Machi inPromise Mascot Agency, so you’ll soon realise it should be a priority to upgrade your old reliable so that it can be even more useful during your travels. Upgrading your truck can give you more speed, boost, and extra features such as trash collecting or firing Pinky out of a canon for easier collection and destruction.

That Pinky cannon mention sealed the deal, right? Here’s how to upgrade your truck, and more importantly, how to find all the spirit foxes you’ll have to track down to get the blueprints.

How To Find The Mechanic

you may find José the Mechanic at Tanaka Car Dream in the watery area southwest of Kaso-Machi Highschool. While you can visit there as soon as you have free movement, you will not be able to interact with José until you have spoken to Endo for the first time. Afterwards, the Mechanic icon will appear on the map.

The symbol that indicates an NPC you’re able to interact with is just to the right of the Mechanic store, as shown above.

If you’re struggling to get the ‘Talk’ pop up near the workshop, it’s likely because you’re too far away from this location.

How To Catch Spirit Foxes

Spirit Foxes willrun in a large loop in their set areas,and youmust drive into them to catch themand unlock the blueprint upgrade. However, it’s not so simple as lying in wait, as if you attempt to drive head on at a fox after waiting for it to loop around, chances are it will jump right over you.

A littlejingle will play when foxes are very close to you,but they’ll be close enough you should immediately see them.

You want to try and cut the fox off from the side and use your boost to ensure you get to it quickly.

All Fox Spirit And Upgrade Blueprint Locations

Below we will cover the rough location of each one, but as they loop you might not see it straight away in the exact location we have highlighted on the map, but sooner or later they will run around.

Upgrade Blueprint 245A - Pinky Launcher

This spirit fox is foundnear Mieko, north of the Recycle Store. It runs in a large loop, largely following the looped road around this area.

This is one of the best upgrades as it allows you to fire Pinky from the truck as a ranged weapon, which makes it easier to collect and destroy things around you, as well as blast open new areas you couldn’t access before.

Upgrade Blueprint 852Y - Truck Boost Upgrade

This spirit fox is found on the road between the Haunted Tunnel and the Morning Market. It runs in a smaller loop her around the houses and onto the road.

This upgrade makes your boost bar bigger so you can boost for longer.

Upgrade Blueprint 00023 - Truck Buoyancy

This spirit fox runsalong the beach to the northeast of the Game Centeron the map.

This upgrade will make the truck seaworthy so you can explore nearby islands. You can technically float around in the water before getting this upgrade, but it isslow.

Upgrade Blueprint 6G3 - Truck Glider

This spirit fox is foundrunning loops around the lake at the top of the Mountain Summit.

This upgrade gives the truck glider wings so you can glide over town. You can’t just take flight, so you have to drive off a high point to begin gliding, but there are ramps scattered over Kaso-Machi to help with this. You can also boost while flying.

Upgrade Blueprint 117P - Truck Trash Collection

This spirit fox is foundnorthwest of Captain Sign.It loops around some of the houses and onto the road to the left of Captain Sign.

This upgrade allows you to pick up the pink trash bags found all over Kaso-Machi, earning you some money and refilling your boost fuel.

Upgrade Blueprint 201H - Truck Speakers

This spirit fox isfound running in a loop north of the Kaso Shrine on the map, in the middle of three shrine icons. You can find it running down part of the road that leads down towards the Promise Mascot Agency.

This upgrade gives a 2.5 percent popularity bonus to your mascots when they complete jobs.

Upgrade Blueprint 194BC - Truck Speed Upgrade

This blueprint is likely the first you’ll unlock as it’s theclosest to José’s workshop, southwest of the Kaso-Machi Highschool.

This upgrade makes your truck move faster by default, making it easier to catch future spirit foxes!
